Story
Run, don't walk and snatch this cutie up before you lose out on the opportunity because Flora Flowers won't be available long! When we say Flora is absolute perfection, especially considering her age, please believe it! Her personality is by far the sweetest and she has the best well-balanced energy. Not only is her personality the absolute best but she's also stinking adorable! I mean, just look at that forever puppy dog face, those cute freckles on her nose, and the fluff! Y’all the fluff is to die for. The kind of fluffy that makes her irresistibly squishy. You almost can’t help but want to squeeze her because she’s that cute. Watch her video and instantly fall in love: https://youtu.be/zzQ1p0ZZ6eM?si=4cV06WHKuSJ5-JQs Flora Flowers is believed to be a Border Collie/Lab mix approximately 7 months old and currently weighs about 30 lbs. One of the very first things that we noticed about Flora is her energy level!! Most young pups her age basically act like toddlers (if we’re being honest LOL) and are testing out boundaries, have a ton of energy, etc. Not Flora though! She actually has a pretty relaxed demeanor and is so mellow! Of course, she still has some energy, she's not a total couch potato (unless you want her to be because she will absolutely be a total couch girl if you want) but she is more mature than most 7 month old pups we’ve ever met. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Flora is super dog friendly and has gotten along great with every dog we have introduced her to and is currently being fostered in a multi dog home with 3 other large dogs and she does great with them too. She’s been with super dominant males, dominant females, really shy and shutdown dogs, dogs that like to roughhouse, play chase, dogs that just like to hangout and do their own thing, and she’s been a perfect princess with them all. She does great meeting dogs on leash and even does great meeting dogs off leash as well. Flora loves making friends with other dogs and already has amazing social skills. She is good about matching the energy of the other dogs. She will play when play is invited and will enjoy those relaxing hangout moments too. When she is with a confident dog that likes to play, her play style is still very much puppy-like in the sense that it’s bouncy, a little mouthy, with a game of tag you’re it from time to time too. Flora shares affection with other dogs too, no jealousy here and she is also comfortable sharing treats around other dogs as well. She is just a sweet baby that has such a go with the flow personality. We would love to see her in a home with another dog, but she would be completely fine as your one and only as well. Flora is already so well behaved and according to her foster, already has wonderful house manners too. She is mastering her leash skills and comes prepped already knowing a couple of basic commands such as sit and down. She loves treats, is eager to please, and has already proven she's a smart little girl. The perfect trifecta for any additional training you would like to do with her in the future. It'll be an enjoyable bonding experience for you both. Her foster reports that she has not had one accident in the house and never gave the impression of even attempting. Flora also knows how to use a doggy door and is not destructive in the home. In fact, her foster trusts her completely and leaves her uncrated with the other dogs when she is out running errands and never returns to any unwanted messes. Flora would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can romp around, stretch her legs, play with her toys, and relax in the sun. She also has the potential of thriving in an apartment/condo setting as well with the proper exercise and socialization. She doesn’t need much but a long walk to the park, a place where she can play fetch, or even in-home mental stimulation puzzles. She would love that too. In all honesty though, she is completely happy being a total couch potato as well. So get ready for lazy Sunday movie marathon snuggles with Flora because that's what's going to happen. She'll enjoy mini adventures as well, just be prepared to be stopped by everyone because she’s so stinking cute. Flora is the best of both worlds in our eyes. We haven’t seen Flora around kids just yet and we can absolutely test that for you. Based on what we already know about her, we believe she would make a great family dog. We are willing to test Flora Flowers with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Milo Miles is his name and he is a ridiculously cute, border collie looking boy with a bright brain, solid manners, and a curled tail that looks like it is signing autographs as he walks by. Milo is estimated to be just shy of 7 months old, he weighs 38 lbs andalthough he has some border collie looks, he doesn't have the classic high-energy work force typically synonymous with the breed. It’s a best guess. Border collie mix (with the usual rescue disclaimer: DNA results not included, charm absolutely is). Want to see Milo Miles and his good-boy basics in action? Head to YouTube- https://youtu.be/HuQwKpAUCFQ Milo is thriving in a loving foster home, and it shows- he’s both house and crate-trained, lives peacefully with two dogs, a cat, and a teenager, and already understands the rhythm of home life. On leash, he’s got great basic skills and the kind of smarts that makes training feel like teamwork instead of a chore. His vibe is medium energy: ready to learn, ready to explore, and very ready to come back inside and be a calm, easy roommate. Milo is welcoming when meeting new people but doesn’t rush into commitments or labels. He likes to get to know you, observe, sniff, and then decides if you’re officially in the friends or besties category. Give him that beat, and he opens up beautifully, especially once he’s had a proper introduction and can relax into the moment. Same Milo. Same. He’s the kind of pup who appreciates respectful handling and prefers his affection without any forced hugs or grabby cuddles, basically let Milo choose the love lane and he will set the cruise control. With other dogs, Milo meets with eager confidence then moves into doing his own things. In playgroups he tends to wander and sniff while the dogs play but his foster he has and shows his full “dog friend” personality. He’s food-motivated (hello, training cheat code), showed no concerns around food with people or dogs, and once he’s inside he’s relaxed and his foster confirmed- easy to live with. Cat notes: Milo lives with a cat and was raised with one, so he may do well with a dog-savvy cat who won’t be offended by a curious youngster who occasionally will playfully chase. If living with a cat in the home he would benefit from having a playful dog buddy so all of his playfulness isnt directed at the cat. Milo will benefit all around by having a dog buddy in the home, and while he’s medium energy and generally quiet, he is best suited in a home with space or an active lifestyle. Apartment life could work for an active family, but given his age and eagerness to learn more about the big-wide-world he is not a “simple short stroll and done” kind of boy. If you’re looking for a smart, trainable, growing boy who’s already polished in the basics, Milo Miles is ready and waiting to take on the role as your adoring sidekick. This cutie is Brandy. She is currently 2 months old and weighs approximately 9lbs. We think they may be a border collie/ Australian shepherd mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Brandy’s playful personality here: https://youtu.be/eONmEGF4N5w?si=SnjARUCoETxUljRa Brandy is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She loves to play with her siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! Brandy is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving at their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog. Story
WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌸🐾 Meet Sierra — Extra Friendly, Extra Fun, Extra Adorable 🐾🌸 4 Months Old • 15 lbs • Female • Chief Social Coordinator If her sister, Lainey is sweet and gentle, Sierra said, “Hold my treat, I’ll greet them first!” 😄 At 4 months old and 15 pounds, Sierra is a loving, happy little pup who’s just a touch more outgoing. She’s the one who will trot right over to say hello, politely accept a treat (because yes, she knows how to take them nicely like a proper lady), and then stick around to see what fun might be happening next. While she may have some Border Collie roots, Sierra did not inherit the “run 47 miles before breakfast” setting. She’s playful, yes. Silly? Absolutely. But overall she’s wonderfully balanced — affectionate, gentle, and laid back for a puppy. When fully grown she should be a fantastic medium size to enjoy all your adventures but still save a spot for you on the couch!! She’s been getting lots of social time in the garage and big backyard, and her personality is blooming. The more she experiences, the more confident and friendly she becomes. She truly enjoys interaction and is very people-oriented. Now, because transparency is important… she is still a puppy. Which means: • Surprise zoomie marathons • “Is this a toy? I vote yes.” moments • Occasional dramatic flops mid-play • Daily comedy performances included at no extra charge Expect puppy shenanigans. Expect laughter. Expect to say, “Okay, that was actually hilarious,” at least once a day. Sierra would make a fantastic family pet. Her friendly nature and gentle temperament make her a wonderful match for families who are ready for the normal puppy phase and all the fun that comes with it. Her dream home includes: • Love and consistency • A backyard for practicing zoomie physics • People who enjoy affection and happy greetings • A sense of humor (very important for puppy ownership 😉) Sierra is the kind of pup who will grow into a loyal, steady companion — but for now, she’s mastering the art of being adorable while keeping life interesting. If you’re ready for a friendly, funny, tail-wagging little best friend who will happily greet you like you’ve been gone for years (even if it was just the mailbox), Sierra is ready. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — because every home deserves a little extra sunshine and a lot of puppy love. 🐾💛

Story
WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💕🐾 Meet Your New Favorite Little Lady — Sweet, Social & Slightly Silly 🐾💕 4 Months Old • 15 lbs • Female • Professional Treat Taker At just 4 months old and 15 pounds, this darling girl is the perfect pocket-sized blend of sweetness and puppy charm. While she may have some Border Collie in her background, she skipped the “caffeinated squirrel” setting and went straight for the gentle, laid-back option. Think more “thoughtful observer” than “chaos coordinator.” 😉 She is super loving, wonderfully gentle, and already knows how to take treats politely — which in puppy terms is basically earning an honorary PhD. She’s smart, attentive, and very people-focused without being over-the-top hyper. When fully grown she should be a fantastic medium size to enjoy all your adventures but still save a spot for you on the couch!! Lately, she and her sibling, Sierra, have been getting lots of social time in the garage and big backyard, and it’s doing wonders for her confidence. She’s blossoming into a happy, social little butterfly who enjoys interaction and is figuring out that the world is actually a pretty fun place. Now let’s be clear — she is still a puppy. Which means: • Random zoomies activated without warning • Toy redistribution programs throughout your house • Occasional “what is this and can I chew it?” investigations • Daily moments that will absolutely make you laugh out loud Puppy shenanigans? Yes. Daily entertainment? Also yes. She would make a fantastic family pet thanks to her sweet, gentle nature. She’s loving without being wild, playful without being pushy, and cuddly without needing to run a marathon first. Her dream home includes: • A family ready for normal puppy antics • Love, structure, and patience • Maybe a backyard for zoomie practice • People who appreciate a good daily LOL moment She’s the kind of pup who will grow into a loyal, steady companion — but right now she’s mastering the fine art of being adorable while learning the ropes. If you’re ready for a gentle, loving, slightly goofy little sidekick who will fill your home with giggles and tail wags, she’s ready to report for duty. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — because life is better with a little puppy chaos and a whole lot of love. 🐾💗
