Story
I love Amber dearly. She is dedicated and beautiful. I didn’t realize at my age it would be difficult to keep up with her physical needs. She loves her tennis ball …. Would love a partner that hikes, bikes and would enjoy the outdoors with her. Then stays inside for the night. When I first got her I had a partner that did all those things. I’m hoping she will find the perfect home and that partner anywhere in the country that will make her happy 🐾🐾

Story
I was found all by myself on a back road. Yep… I’m just a baby, so I’m pretty sure I didn’t get there by myself. I was scared and didn’t know what was happening, but then a nice man picked me up and carried me to safety. When I got to my foster, she told me I was adorable and showed me what it feels like to be loved. Turns out, I REALLY like this love stuff. ❤️ Now I’m ready for the best part—a family of my very own! I love to run, play and have all kinds of puppy fun. But when I’m worn out, there’s nothing better than naptime on the couch, snuggled under a soft blanket. I’ve already learned that being loved feels pretty amazing. Now I just need someone to love me forever. Could that be you? 🐾 This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pups with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event! The adoption fee is $600 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. Story
**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!** Name: Clark aka Clark Griswold Breed: Pit Bull/Border Collie Mix Sex/Age/Weight: Male/estimated DOB 03-2025/50 lbs House trained/Crate trained: Yes/Yes Dogs/Cats/Children: He’s been very friendly with pets of all sizes. He hasn’t been around cats yet. He has been in the same room with our guinea pigs and doesn’t bat an eye. Energy level: He loves to play, but when he sees my dogs settle down and rest, he will too. He loves to sun bathe with my male dog, Clint Eastwood. Before FAR/My history: Clark was on the euthanasia list at Bibb County Animal Shelter when he was rescued by a new FAR foster. He was very beat up, had terrible skin, was constantly itching, had lots of wounds, and was very bloody around his ears. Luckily he healed very quickly after getting rescued. Training status/Commands I know: Still training of course but he’s starting to understand what’s going on when we’re working on basic obedience. He is starting to learn what “down” means, “go to bed” (kennel), and "outside". Things I don't like: So far there hasn’t really been anything he doesn’t like. Things I like: He loves the recliner, other dogs, tennis balls, and sticks. When you sit down, he loves to come prop his head on your legs while you rub him because he loves his head rubbed. Ideal family/Home: Clark would definitely love to live with other dogs in his forever home. He would love to have lots of attention and to have a recliner! If you are interested in giving Clark a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer. We have experienced some problems when applications have been submitted using a mobile device. *When you submit the application, you are not obligated to adopt however it does reserve for you the opportunity to adopt that particular animal. We review them on a first come first served basis. If your application is approved, we will contact you and allow you the opportunity to adopt. If you choose not to adopt, we will contact the next approved applicant. Story
Save me from Texas! My name is Marley, and I am a pretty little female Border Collie / Terrier mix puppy, almost 4 months old, weighing 13.5 lbs, and I was abandoned at a grooming facility with a very unfortunate case of demodex mange on my face and legs (see my “before” picture). I was more than pathetic-looking, but thankfully that didn't stop a dog rescue from taking me in, and my foster mom was the best! These days, besides being completely adorable, I am a happy girl, feeling great, and now that I am free from mange, I am having some fun playing with the other foster dogs! I am a friendly girl with gobs of playful energy, a tad shy at first, but that doesn't last long, and nothing gets me down. I love playtime with all humans, with other dogs, with dog toys, and I can make a fun game out of anything I find that looks fun to play with. I am still catching up on human affection, but I am quickly getting the idea that snuggles and kisses equal love, and reciprocating often. My foster mom says I do very well in a crate and I acclimate well. I already know how to use a potty pad, but I need one more vaccine this week before I can play outdoors... but I’m betting it's fun!! Inquire about me today. Adoption Fee: $600 * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
