If you are interested in TUESDAY or in adopting a pup in general, the first step is an adoption application. Download an adoption application here Please email the completed application to adoptionteam1.woofriver@gmail.com Please submit an application rather than an inquiry with no application attached. Let TUESDAY teach you how to have fun! This adorable girl always wins Miss Personality paws down! She wakes up happy every morning, ready for whatever love, action or excitement her day will bring. TUESDAY enjoys giving kisses, getting belly rubs and cuddling with dogs and humans. That being said, she also loves her playtime. She is a big fan of toys, romping around the yard and playing with her foster family. Life for her is all about finding someone to shower with adoration and accompany on life's adventures. She is a friendly and affectionate little nugget who is thrilled to go absolutely anywhere your heart desires. Her positive attitude and curious nature makes her the perfect buddy for any of your outdoor adventures. TUESDAY is also a very clever pup and we think would excel in obedience or other types of training. She basically is a candidate for everything life has to offer. She is a jubilant and joyful pup who has so much to give. She will make a wonderful partner for anyone seeking an upbeat, athletic, lovable companion, with whom to share life! We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed. Thank you in advance for your patience. All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions. For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport. Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff. Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding. Please LIKE Woof River on Facebook! Thank you for choosing rescue!!

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Meet Samuel, the 52-pound charmer with the energy of a Border Collie and the heart of a teddy bear! This one-year-old Border Collie/Lab (possibly?) mix is the perfect combination of sweet and spirited. He's a social butterfly with dogs and a soft treat-taker from your hand. Sam's talents include sitting and working on "OFF". His perfect day involves walks, yard playtime, and some quality time with squeaky toys. Sam is very attached to his people and always wants to be near them. He is crate-trained and housetrained. Samuel walks very well on a leash - does not pull and rides well in the car. He is as loyal as they come. Sam's ideal home? One with a patient person who can match his energy, perhaps another furry friend, and a daily routine. If you're ready for a companion who'll keep up with you on all your adventures, Sam's your guy! Apply now, and let the adventures begin!    Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. May 6, 2024, 11:30 pm

Story
🐾WALLACE🖤 Wallace is a loving, handsome, 1.5 year old border Collie/husky mix. He is amazing with other dogs & lives with a bunch of them! He does well with cats as long as a clear expectation is made of how he should behave. 🐱 Wallace is house trained and kennel trained, and he walks/runs well on leash! He would do well with older children as long as they are familiar with the breed & ok with potentially being herded. 🐶 This sweet boy thrives with consistency. He has a hard time adapting to change but has gotten better and will continue to improve with the right amount of training. Wallace can get very excited and just needs someone calm and consistent in these times to help him be the best boy!🖤 Is Wallace the pup you’ve been looking for? If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN RHODE ISLAND AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.
