Serena **Currently Available for Adoption!** Good with Kids & Dogs! Meet Serena! 3 mos./16 lb./Female/Border Collie Mix Name: Serena Age: 3 months Weight: 16 lbs Breed: Border Collie Mix Status: Single, spunky, and ready to run the show About Me: Hi, I’m Serena — bold, bright, and always ready for what’s next. I’ve got a big personality in a puppy body and the kind of energy that turns everyday moments into something exciting. Whether I’m chasing toys, playing with my dog friends, or popping over for kisses, I live life all-in. I love being part of the action and I’ve never met a moment I didn’t want to join. I’m smart, curious, and already showing off that classic Border Collie spark — which means I thrive when my brain and body are both engaged. Give me love, guidance, and a little structure, and I’ll be your most devoted teammate. Best Qualities: • Confident, playful, and full of joy • Smart and eager to learn • Great with kids and other dogs • Athletic energy with a sweet, affectionate side • A total heart-stealer with a winning smile My Ideal Match: • An active family or individual who enjoys engagement and fun • Humans excited to train, play, and grow together • A home that loves a dog with personality and drive • Someone ready for a lifelong adventure buddy Deal Breakers: • Not for someone wanting a low-energy puppy • Needs mental stimulation and regular activity • Looking for commitment — no half-hearted matches Fun Fact: I don’t just join the fun — I lead it. This Valentine’s season, Serena isn’t waiting on the sidelines. If you’re ready for a smart, spirited pup who brings energy, love, and laughter into your life, Serena is ready to be your forever match. ❤️🐶

Story
Meet Freya a 10-month-old 42 pound Border Collie/Aussie Doodle mix with soulful green eyes and a heart full of love. She’s playful, snuggly, smart, and thrives with active humans who engage both her body and mind. She’s gentle with kids, gets along great with other dogs, and loves puzzles, bobbing for apples, and cuddling close. Freya is potty trained, crate trained and knows sit, stay, place, off, and leave it. She’s refining her leash skills (can pull at times) but travels well and picks up training quickly. New environments can make her cautious at first, so she needs someone patient who honors her pace and gives her space to adjust. She’s being rehomed due to a life transition (divorce + relocation). This is a hard and loving choice, made to give her the freedom and care she deserves. Freya will thrive in an active and loving home, where she can run, play, and be deeply loved. If you feel like your home might be the right fit for Freya, i’d love to hear from you.

Story
We adopted Cooper from a family friend about 3 years ago who could longer take care of him. It took him a few days to feel safe and comfortable around other animals (we already had a cat and another dog—a lab) but once he realized he was safe, he was happy! We have had no issues with Cooper until we had a baby. Cooper became very anxious around her, and over time as our baby got bigger, that anxiety has turned to aggression (growling, bearing teeth, attempting to bite). Now with another little one on the way and with our first child becoming more mobile, we need to find a home for Cooper where there are no small children. He is a sweet, loving boy who loves to be outdoors! Looking for a child-free home where Cooper can feel safe, loved, and welcomed. (He is 9 years old)

Story
Meet Sheesh, a one-year-old pup whose unique personality perplexed her foster mom until she received the breed results — border collie and Labrador retriever!  Sheesh’s hobbies are all lab. She loves playing fetch and brings the ball back consistently.  Sheesh also loves water and will go towards any source of water, whether it’s coming from a sprinkler in the neighborhood or running in a creek. She loves being outside in the rain and isn’t afraid of getting all wet. She’s so calm and easy during baths that her foster mom still bathes her in the kitchen sink even though she’s much too big for it now at 45 lbs full grown.  The border collie in Sheesh is also very apparent in how intelligent and obedient she is. Sheesh follows instructions without the need for a treat. She’ll come when you call her name and go to her crate when told to. She’s very smart and learns new skills quickly. She also has some herding tendencies and can get very focused on things like a squirrel in the yard. She’s of course energetic, but does take plenty of naps throughout the day.  Sheesh will do best in an active home with owners who want to take her on long morning walks. Sheesh loves her walks, but she can get a little too excited by other excitable dogs she encounters. She will need someone willing to work with her on this, possibly with a trainer’s help. Sheesh is very redirectable and responsive if the person walking her knows what to do.  Sheesh has been in her foster home since July 2024 and is fully potty trained, crate trained and has zero separation anxiety. She’s super friendly, happy and loving, and is friends with all the dogs in her foster home. There’s not a mean bone in her body. She even shows remarkable patience with small puppies, letting them climb all over her and chew on her beautiful, fluffy tail. Although she’s not perfect, Sheesh is a special young dog who will bring great joy to her forever family.”
