Meet Rum! 3 mos./19 lb./Male/Aussie Mix Name: Rum Age: 3 months Weight: 19 lbs Breed: Border Collie mix Status: Single, silly, and ready to shake up your heart 💙 About Me: Hi! I’m Rum — sweet, smooth, and best enjoyed daily. I’m a happy-go-lucky puppy with big feelings, bright eyes, and an endless supply of fun. I love chasing toys, investigating everything, and reminding my humans that joy is contagious. I’m still a work in progress (aren’t we all?), but with love, patience, and a little training, I’m going to grow into the kind of best friend who makes every day better just by showing up. Best Qualities: • Certified joy mixer with nonstop tail wags • Good with kids & other dogs • Smart, curious, and eager to learn • Equal parts cuddle bug and playtime pro My Ideal Match: • Someone ready for puppy kisses, zoomies, and laughs • A home that enjoys play, structure, and growing together • Humans who want a forever sidekick, not a short-term fling Deal Breakers: • Not a match for “no time, no patience” lifestyles • Puppies take work — but I promise I’m the fun kind Fun Fact: I can transform any toy into my favorite toy in under five seconds. If your Valentine’s wish list includes laughter and a love that grows bigger every day, I might just be your Pawfect Match. Scoop me up before someone else does! 🐾💙

Story
We adopted Cooper from a family friend about 3 years ago who could longer take care of him. It took him a few days to feel safe and comfortable around other animals (we already had a cat and another dog—a lab) but once he realized he was safe, he was happy! We have had no issues with Cooper until we had a baby. Cooper became very anxious around her, and over time as our baby got bigger, that anxiety has turned to aggression (growling, bearing teeth, attempting to bite). Now with another little one on the way and with our first child becoming more mobile, we need to find a home for Cooper where there are no small children. He is a sweet, loving boy who loves to be outdoors! Looking for a child-free home where Cooper can feel safe, loved, and welcomed. (He is 9 years old)

Story
Dempsey is a great guy and very well behaved. He is well trained and obedient. He is very cuddly and is much more interested in humans than he is in other dogs. He loves to fetch and is a big fan of swimming and hiking, but also content to hang out at my feet when I am just hanging watching a movie. I got him in California when I was stationed out there and he followed me from there to Nebraska until I got out of the military. After transitioning to my new career I cannot afford a suitable living space for the two of us. It breaks my heart to lose him but I cannot find a way to keep him. Any further questions I am happy to answer

Story
Meet Sheesh, a one-year-old pup whose unique personality perplexed her foster mom until she received the breed results — border collie and Labrador retriever!  Sheesh’s hobbies are all lab. She loves playing fetch and brings the ball back consistently.  Sheesh also loves water and will go towards any source of water, whether it’s coming from a sprinkler in the neighborhood or running in a creek. She loves being outside in the rain and isn’t afraid of getting all wet. She’s so calm and easy during baths that her foster mom still bathes her in the kitchen sink even though she’s much too big for it now at 45 lbs full grown.  The border collie in Sheesh is also very apparent in how intelligent and obedient she is. Sheesh follows instructions without the need for a treat. She’ll come when you call her name and go to her crate when told to. She’s very smart and learns new skills quickly. She also has some herding tendencies and can get very focused on things like a squirrel in the yard. She’s of course energetic, but does take plenty of naps throughout the day.  Sheesh will do best in an active home with owners who want to take her on long morning walks. Sheesh loves her walks, but she can get a little too excited by other excitable dogs she encounters. She will need someone willing to work with her on this, possibly with a trainer’s help. Sheesh is very redirectable and responsive if the person walking her knows what to do.  Sheesh has been in her foster home since July 2024 and is fully potty trained, crate trained and has zero separation anxiety. She’s super friendly, happy and loving, and is friends with all the dogs in her foster home. There’s not a mean bone in her body. She even shows remarkable patience with small puppies, letting them climb all over her and chew on her beautiful, fluffy tail. Although she’s not perfect, Sheesh is a special young dog who will bring great joy to her forever family.”

Story
Meet Dixie! 🖤🤍 Dixie is a 1.5-year-old Border Collie/Heeler mix with the cutest perky ears, soulful eyes, and an expression that somehow manages to be both serious and ridiculously endearing at the same time. She has a unique look that makes you stop and stare—and then instantly smile. Dixie has rickets, but it truly doesn’t slow her down or dampen her joyful spirit one bit. She’s a happy, playful girl who loves to bounce around, soak up attention, and be part of whatever’s going on. Her personality is bright, loving, and full of charm. She’s incredibly friendly and adores everyone she meets, including kids, cats, and other dogs. Dixie is smart, eager to please, and already crate trained and housebroken, making her an easy and wonderful addition to a home. Dixie is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a forever family who will love her just as she is—unique, joyful, and absolutely adorable. 💕
