We adopted him as a rescue dog when he was younger and were told he is a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, although this has not been confirmed. He is now 3.5 years old and is incredibly sweet, loving, playful, energetic, affectionate, and loyal. He has lots of love to give and enjoys being active and playing, but he can also be anxious. We are looking for a loving, patient home that can provide him with plenty of exercise, attention, and mental stimulation. Because of his energy level and anxiety, we feel he would do best in a home without young children and preferably without other pets. We want to find a home that is a better fit for his needs, where he can feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

Hello, My name is Lenny. I am the sweetest boy you have ever met. No one knows how I got on this country road in between the woods. All I know is I am the luckiest fellow around. The person who found me was so nice. She was heading down the road to feed her pack. How lucky, food, shelter, and safety from coyotes. I was happy someone had stopped and talked to me. Upon me coming up to her, my foster mom noticed scrapes on my face, neck, and legs. This is consistent with being tossed out of a moving car. But this trauma has not made me affraid of a car ride, only afraid of climbing in the truck. With time and many car rides, this fear will go away. Psst, cheeseburger rewards are my favorite! I am fully vetted now, dog social, doggy door trained, crate trained, leash trained, and house trained. I know to sit. I do not realize how big I am. My foster mom is teaching me off. Jason (handyman) comes over to fix things and I like to follow him around to see what he is doing. I am curious. My world is lonely without you.
