Story
Frankie is a sweet puppy boy who is a foster favorite. He's everything you want in a dog: goofy, loving, playful, sweet, and cuddly! We think he's a border collie/bully breed mix, but whatever his mix is, it makes him perfect! A smart little guy, Frankie keeps his crate clean and does really well in the house. He loves chasing balls and wrestling with other dogs. This sweet puppy's greatest trait is that he loves his people. While his littermates take off when they come out of the crate, he immediately stays behind to give kisses and be petted. There's a heart dog in every litter, and Frankie is that dog. Frankie was born in December 2025 and found on a dirt road in January. He's fully vetted and ready to be your best snuggle buddy. Meet Dixie! Dixie is a 1.5-year-old Border Collie/Heeler mix with the cutest perky ears, soulful eyes, and an expression that somehow manages to be both serious and ridiculously endearing at the same time. She has a unique look that makes you stop and stareand then instantly smile. Dixie has rickets, but it truly doesnt slow her down or dampen her joyful spirit one bit. Shes a happy, playful girl who loves to bounce around, soak up attention, and be part of whatevers going on. Her personality is bright, loving, and full of charm. Shes incredibly friendly and adores everyone she meets, including kids, cats, and other dogs. Dixie is smart, eager to please, and already crate trained and housebroken, making her an easy and wonderful addition to a home. Dixie is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a forever family who will love her just as she isunique, joyful, and absolutely adorable.

Meet Skip! 🐾 Skip is a 1.5-year-old Border Collie mix with the sweetest, most lovable personality! ❤️ He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he warms up, he is incredibly affectionate and cuddly and loves being close to his people. And as if he wasn’t already adorable enough, he has the most beautiful, incredibly soft coat that makes him even better to snuggle with! 🥰 Skip is very smart, eager to learn, and picks up on new things quickly. He’s crate trained and about 95% house trained, so he’s well on his way to having all of his good-boy skills mastered! He has moderate energy but tends to be on the calmer side and is a great mix of playful and easygoing. He does great with kids and other dogs and would especially thrive in a home with another friendly dog to help build his confidence and keep him company. Because of his Border Collie instincts, he may be tempted to chase cats, so a cat-free home would likely be the best fit. Skip is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to find his forever family! 🐾❤️

🏆Major🏆 This handsome boy is Major, he is the best boy and the life of the party! 🎉 Major is around two years old and is a most likely a border collie / lab mix (a Borador). Major is very smart and is already house trained. He is great with other dogs and loves everyone he meets. 😊 Major needs room to play and he is looking for a big fenced in yard to run off his energy and play endless games of fetch. He would make the perfect family dog or bestie for an active compile. If you are interested in learning more about Major, please submit an adoption application. This guy checks all the boxes for being the best boy and can’t wait to meet his forever family. ❤️ If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/forms PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN RHODE ISLAND AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
Meet Todd Todd is a 5-month-old Border Collie mix with the sweetest personality and a fun, playful spirit. Hes expected to stay on the smaller side, around 40 lbs full grown, making him a great medium-sized companion. This smart boy is quick to learn and loves to make his people smile with his goofy, funny personality. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he warms up, hes incredibly affectionate and loyal. Todd is doing wonderfully with house training and crate training, and hes already showing how eager he is to learn. He does great with kids and other dogs, but will need a feline-free home as he may chase cats. Todd is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find his forever home
