Stella is a 4 year old, active, driven pure bred Border Collie. Needs an active home that can keep up with her energy - a home ready to provide a job or hobby would be a huge plus. She needs to be the only pet in the home but is not reactive to seeing or meeting other animals out and about, she just doesn't share well inside the home. She is housebroken and very well behaved at home. She is a petite size for a Border Collie and has a smooth/shorter coat. She is active and needs an active home. Breed experience would be a huge plus but not required if you're active and have had prior dog owning experience. Story
Tip is approx. 2.5 years old. He had a really rough start in life. The first 9 mos. of his life he was beaten, hosed down, left in a much too small crate (toy breed sized), outside in the sun for 5 months straight - NEVER let out. He survived on his own urine and feces. A friend intervened, but her dog and Tip fought, so I got him. He greets new people with a vicious snarl, showing teeth, growling, and barking. He has bitten 3 people. However, if you can become his friend (high value treats, like turkey lunch meat, will get you into his heart), he is a goofy, fun, super sweet, loveable dog that wants to be loved and in your lap or by your side constantly. Unfortunately, my husband passed and my living arrangements are changing. Sadly, I can't take him with me. If I can't find him a home, he will have to be euthanized. Because of his past, he will require an experienced owner or someone willing to have him trained and a secure fenced yard. NO SMALL CHILDREN!
