You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Capitan is the sweetest little boy.  Well not super little, he is probably around 25-30 pounds now and will most likely get a little bigger.  We are unsure of his breed, he looks like he has border collie in him but probably also some terrier, maybe lab, his coloring suggests dalmatian.  He is amazing with other dogs and kids, loves to snuggle.  We are not sure how he would be with cats in his home but at our events he doesn't even seem to notice them so he probably won't care.  He is working on potty training but is crate trained and does pretty well on a leash.  He loves the water and mud so heads up.  One thing you need to know...he is deaf, and mostly blind, he lost one eye (congenital issue and it was removed), the other eye is not great either.  We think he can see shadows because he navigates his surroundings just fine, even when he is in a new place.  He would benefit from someone who has experience with a deaf and blind dog as training is difficult since he can't hear.  But he is so easy going he would be fine as long as his people do their research and learn with him.  Otherwise he is healthy, he is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Neely is on a furlough this week: "She’s super playful and super curious about everything. Potty training is going well if we take her out enough but if we have pee pads around she’ll use them, she didn’t like the windy night we had the other day, it scared her and she didn’t want to go outside so pee pads for the win. She learned how to sit! Although still working on it hahaha. And she’s doing much much better on leash She has been around my niece (5yo) and nephew (6months) and did so well, not even nibbling that much just many licks! Hello world! I’m Indigo! I am a beautiful 2-year-old girl from Texas, and my foster family says I have the most soulful eyes—it's why they gave me my name! I’m having so much fun in my foster home. I love playing with the resident dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine friend of my own in my forever home. I’m a smart and inquisitive girl who enjoys learning new things, playing with my toys and stuffies, and chewing on bones. My absolute favorite activity is running and fetching balls in the yard! I’m fully potty trained and have never chewed on anything I shouldn’t. I’m also very respectful of the other dogs’ space—my foster mom says I’m the perfect houseguest. When I’m not playing, I’m happy to relax, cuddle, or sit right by your side, always ready for the next adventure. I’m looking for a loving family who can help continue building my confidence, teach me new things, and show me that life doesn’t need to be scary. I’m ready to live my best life and share my love with a special family. If you’re looking for a new best friend, I’d love to meet you! Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). .
