Moxie is a 2-year-old Border Collie mix. She is pretty shy, but is a deeply loving girl looking for a patient home. This sweet girl takes time to build trust, but once she does, her bond is lifelong. She is fully potty trained, very smart, and thrives on routine. Moxie needs a very quiet home with no kids and people who understand fearful dogs.Moxie needs to be an only dog. Moxie does fine with dog saavy cats. She walks nicely on leash when she feels safe and enjoys hiking, agility and paddle boarding. She does not like crowds or loud noises and she’ll need a quiet, safe space during fireworks.She is an active dog who needs regular exercise and mental stimulation. She loves toys (especially squeaky ones), is treat-motivated when comfortable, and has shown great potential in training despite minimal experience. Because of her sensitivities, Moxie will require multiple meet and greets with her potential adopters to ensure a successful forever home for her! She has proved she can form a strong bond with her foster parent and would love a home of her own.If you are patient, kind, active and willing to earn her trust, you will gain a best friend that will be yours forever! "She ran calling "WILD.....FIRE"!! That is a haunting song.... I promise, though..I am not a HAUNTER!! But I may love to run around and around and AROUND :) I am a puppy! I am so sweet and cuddly, when i finish running around ;) I have plenty of energy so you HAVE to be ready to burn it off with mental and physical exercise. I am SMART too! Teach me who you want me to be and I will learn! I was found with 4 siblings living (dumped) at the Home Depot...but it was a LUCKY BREAK, cause we were seen by the husband of a rescuer and we got SAVED! Now I am in my foster home and learning the "ropes" ;) Potty training is getting better every day, I mean our foster mom takes us out often for potty control and I am really working hard to wait for the next jaunt outside! I also am crate training too! I don't like to pee or poop where I sleep- as long as I don't eat right before bed and go outside as soon as I wake up I am doing great!! I seriously am ready for my family, I LOVE to play and am great with all dogs big, small, old or babies. AND i have one half BLUE EYE!! The better to see you with, my new family! :) ADOPT ME SOON!! Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

Hello, she was my pet for a year. I rescued her from a shelter when she was 6 months old since they had her there because they had abused her. She is very playful, friendly and likes children. She likes to protect them so that no one unknown approaches them or touches them. You have to take her out so that she can do her needs. She likes to run after the ball in the summer. She likes to eat ice cream and in winter she likes to wear a shirt for the cold. She likes to have her belly rubbed when she is lying down. The reason why I give her up for adoption is that I am leaving the country and I can't take her because of permits and I don't have the money to take her. I will be grateful with the one who gives her a second chance. She has her vaccines up to date and her identification plate.

Now, before we go any further into my story.... let me warn you...it contains heartache and then some puppies, and fear and even some hopelessness. We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business. I want to be the Queen of the house :D Adopt me and I will fill YOUR home with my love and devotion. Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
