Story
ABOUT WILLOW Willow is a sweet, cuddly girl who loves nothing more than spending time with her people. She can be a bit shy with loud noises, but she’ll quickly look to you for reassurance, she just needs a little comfort to feel safe again. One of Willow’s favorite things in the world is her stuffies! She proudly collects them and will try to carry as many as she can in her mouth when out in the field, it’s quite the adorable sight. She’s a polite girl too, always willing to give up a toy when asked before heading back to her kennel. Willow is a surprisingly agile pup and loves to show off by hopping to the top of her kennel when she’s excited. But once she’s out and about, her calm and gentle side shines through. She’ll quietly ask for pets and melt right into your arms for cuddles. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion with a playful heart and a gentle spirit, Willow might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Meet MARCY, she’s looking for her hero! “Adopted dogs don’t just find homes, they find heroes.” Marcy is a 3-year-old beautiful Border Collie mix. She’s not just beautiful, she’s the kind of breathtaking beauty that makes time pause. Marcy loves to play and have fun in our agility fields. Her heart is like a sponge; she cherishes every minute you spend with her. Kennel life weighs heavily on her gentle spirit. The minute she walks away, she’s so happy and carefree, and her personality shines like the brightest star in the night sky—lighting up everything around her. Marcy’s incredibly sweet, takes treats with the gentlest touch, and her intelligence—true to her breed—is remarkable. Marcy once had a family, but when they moved, she was left behind. She’s been quietly grieving ever since, waiting for someone to see her, love her, and bring her home. She doesn’t ask for much—just a place by your side and a place in your heart. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving best friend who will cherish you every single day, Marcy is 100% ready to be your forever companion. Come meet Marcy! Meet Marcy: Please email Adoptions@LaManchaAnimalRescue.org ****** Spayed/neutered, UTD vaccinations, chipped, wormed. Story
Intake date - 20 September 2020Approximate Birth Date - 5 August 2019Black and white female border collie********PUPDATE 21 December 2022 - Pan has changed SO MUCH since intake - as you`d expect with a long term stay - and would really thrive in a home of her own. Pan loves the company of other stable dogs, and is devoted and affectionate to humans who are willing to give her space and allow Pan to figure them out and build trust.******Pan will need an experienced home, and other dog(s) to help her become more confident and trusting of strangers.Pan has the genetic ability to be and do nearly anything a human partner could possibly want, but her upbringing and lack of training has left holes that will need to be filled. From everything we can see, the journey will be entirely worth it. Pan recently met a stranger (to her) and was well behaved, engaging, and allowed handling (including feet!).*****Meet Pan! Pan is going to need a patient and confident home with another confident dog. She was not raised in an environment which allowed her to gain self confidence or courage. Pan has been in our care only a few days but has already made tremendous progress. Pan is great with other dogs but is currently reactive and fearful of other people. She will be going through some training here until we feel she is ready for, (and we find her) the perfect forever home.Pan is located in Maryland, and weighs appx 45 lbs.

Please contact Darlene at 302-312-5129 (fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 302-312-5129 (text or call) or via email at fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 December 9, 2025, 8:25 pm
