MEET FINNICK! This amazing shelter survivor is doing great in his foster's home and is ready for his forever! FINNICK LOVES other dogs! He is with a pack now and loving every minute of it. FINNICK LOVES his treats, toys and bones. He LOVES his daily walks. He LOVES his time outside, no matter what the weather. He LOVES stuffies (throws them in the air and catches, so cute!) and to play fetch. He LOVES his playtime, but is an expert snuggler once back inside. FINNICK's ideal home will be one that loves and cares for him of course, a home committed to him forever. A home that "gets" his energy level and will satisfy it, and give him the daily exercise he loves to stay happy and balanced. A home that gives him structure and boundaries to be the dog he can be. Another canine companion or two would be great. Adult home or one with kids over 12 is best. Finnick is house and crate trained. He is about 3.5 yrs old and weighs about 65 lbs. UTD and neutered. Have questions? Want to visit? Please contact reboundhounds@gmail.com and we will get right back to you, thanks! FINNICK IS IN FOGELSVILLE, PA

Story
Dove is ready to find her forever home this 12 week collie/hound mix has a very sad past to share.  She, along with her littermates, found themselves trying to survive as tiny babies in a feral colony in the mountains of rural Virginia.  Some very kind people found out about them and was able to gather them all up to safety. The babies had a skin condition that took quite a while to treat, however, they are all healed up now, and ready for their happy ever after. Dove is a fiesty, sweet pup ready for her forever home. She had been with her brother and our family for 6 weeks and did well when introduced to a cat. She loves to be outside, running around in our fenced-in backyard. She is still adjusting to walking on a leash, but she is smart and learns fast. Willow is potty trained, except for accidents once in a while and is crate trained. She will be a great family addition!  Adoption application:  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NARP/Dog Glenmoore PA 19343  Kennel license 16105 Dove joined us from Page County, Virginia   &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#137&#203&#161   &#203&#161 &#226&#129&#177 &#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191 &#203&#162&#225&#181&#137 :    ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188   &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163  ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129 &#202&#183 &#225&#182&#156 &#202&#176 &#203&#161&#225&#181&#131 &#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#136 ,  &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172  ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176   &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#137&#203&#161   &#203&#161 &#226&#129&#177 &#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191 &#203&#162&#225&#181&#137 :    ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188   &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163  ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129 &#202&#183 &#225&#182&#156 &#202&#176 &#203&#161&#225&#181&#131 &#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#136 ,  &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172  ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176 April 22, 2024, 3:26 pm

Story
Ollie's personality shines at home. He is an absolute goof ball and makes us laugh all the time with his antics. He is a stick-chomper, tug-lover, squeaker afficionado, and destroyer of all but the most durable toys. After a morning walk, he settles on his (Serta) bed or gazes out the window while his people are off at work. Anytime you come home, he is there at the door toy in mouth and tail wagging furiously. He loves butt scratches and wont hesitate to put his rear end in your face. He is house trained, crate trained (begrudgingly), and knows all of the standard commands. In full transparency, Ollie does have a bite history: single punctures or bruises. He has generalized anxiety and fear-based reactivity, but his triggers are mostly predictable and manageable. I dearly love him, but I am in medical school and do not have the means. He'd thrive in a single-dog home with 1-2 owners willing to take him for long walks, continue his medication and work with him through triggers.

Story
Tosh is a 21 mo, 29 lb Aussie mix who is a sweetheart in the calm of our home. However, she is overwhelmed by our urban neighborhood. She barks at vehicles, pedestrians, and other dogs. She is also reactive to our 3rd flr tenant who comes through our house, so he has to text ahead whenever he comes through, which is an untenable situation for all of us. Tosh was picked up as a stray in rural TN and taken to a county shelter last summer. She was heart worm positive, so she was placed in a boarding/foster setting for the duration of her treatment. Online, her personality was described as sweet. Tosh adjusted well to our household, including our cat, but we could not walk her due to her reactivity to busy streets. She is on Prozac, and we have been following the Spirit Dog program for reactivity. Knows basic commands; no chewing; no resource guarding. Tosh is making steady progress, but our tenant cannot keep texting his every move, and she would be so much happier outside the city.

Story
Fynn came to us through a foster service about a year and a half ago. He had no medical history apart from his recent vaccinations and a note, "surrendered by owner." We were immediately taken by his goofy smile and cautious but curious approach. What we couldn't know at the time is that Fynn has substantial anxiety, especially around body handling and strangers in the home. We have since engaged with multiple trainers, vets, a behavioral therapist, and many well-meaning friends of ACDs in the effort to help Fynn feel comfortable in our home and community of West Philadelphia. In that year and a half, we have made a lot progress and developed a great relationship with Fynn. He is funny and eager to please, enjoys play and snuggling on the couch, and seems always ready for another adventure. Unfortunately, he also seems constantly triggered by the excessive noise and busy-ness of the city in which we live. We've reached a plateau and can't find a way to make him feel truly at home.
