She has not been in a house (that we know of), nor has been on a leash. She does okay in a crate and has no issues with other dogs. She is just a sweet girl who is now ready for a forever home. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Typical of the breed, she enjoys running and playing fetch. Kya will need someone who can understand that it takes patience to win over her heart, as she can be skittish until she gets to know you. Once you become her friend, she will become your shadow, and enjoys being in the same area as you while you take care of things around the house. She was quick to figure out how to jingle the bell by the back door to indicate that she has to go out, but may still have an accident or two until she learns the routine. Aussies are known for being very smart, and Kya is no exception. When Kya settles, she loves to lay on a soft blanket or on your feet, where she naps peacefully. She does not enjoy being crated, however, as long as she doesn't have food within reach, this isn't a problem, as she's non-destructive. Kya needs a home with an individual that has dog experience, breed experience preferred. She is amazing and extremely smart with some energy. Meet Roxanne! This sweet cattle dog mix is such a cuddle bug! At just four months old, she is already keeping her indoor area clean and goes outside to potty. Roxanne does well with other dogs and cats and loves attention. At this time, she is not a fan of being crated but does well outside of her crate. Roxanne’s current foster says she is absolutely precious and she could just hold her all day long.
