Christine Risley 1:34 PM (2 minutes ago) to me Meet Oreo! My name is Oreo. I bet you don't know why. I'll give you a hint. It's because I'm so sweet. My foster mom thinks I am a Border Collie Bully mix. I am about 8 months old, and I am still learning my manners. I love to run and play with my foster siblings, but I can get too excited and start nipping at them sometimes but it’s my herding instinct and my foster mom is working on correcting me. It’s not aggressive just puppy love! I love to play with toys and chew on bones. My favorite toys are the ones I can pull the cream filling out of. I also love playing with the giant sized Jolly Ball outside My foster mom says I'm very smart and I learn quickly when I am motivated to do so. I love treats so I listen very well if there is some sort of food involved. I have learned how to sit, lay down, leave it, and I am working on learning how to shake. I am crate trained but I have figured out how to get the crate door open, so my foster mom has to put clips on the latch to keep me from opening the door. When I initially met my foster dad, I was scared of him, and I would bark at him every time I saw him . However, when he came closer, I would get quiet and enjoy the attention he would give me.. Something in my past may have caused me to fear men but with continued reassurance I should grow out of the initial fear. My foster mom has an eight-year-old little girl and while she can get on my nerves at times, I am very happy to play with her. I would love to find my forever family and show everyone just how sweet I can be! This is incredibly hard for us, but we are looking for the right home for our dog, Dakota. ❤️ We have had her for 6 years, and she has been a wonderful dog and best friend. Unfortunately, because of our work schedules, she isn't getting the time and attention she deserves, and we love her enough to recognize that. Dakota is very loving, smart, playful, and loves to cuddle. She is good with cats and older kids but has not been around babies. She needs a calm, quieter home and would not do well in a noisy or chaotic environment. She pulls on the leash but is smart and can be retrained. She should be the only dog, as she has never been properly socialized with other dogs. Most importantly, please be patient with her. After 6 years with the same family, she will need time to adjust and learn to trust her new home. We want someone who will love her, play with her, cuddle her, and give her the time she deserves. ❤️🐾

He is up to date on his vaccines and will be neutered soon. He has a medium to high energy level and absolutely LOVES his ball! 🎾 He would make a wonderful companion for an active person or family who enjoys playing, walking, and keeping a young dog busy. He loves taking walks and does very well on a leash. Because he is still very much a puppy, his new family will need to be patient and consistent with him as he continues learning the basics. He’ll need someone willing to work with him on housetraining and Training 101—basic commands, manners, leash skills, and learning what is expected of him. He’s smart, young, and ready to learn!
