Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Yes, dog savvy catsGood with kids: Unknown, likely yesCrate trained: Yes House trained: Working on it Faye is a peppy, affectionate girl with a zest for life and a whole lot of love to give. She is a medium energy gal who loves to play, bounce around, and make friends with absolutely everyone she meets. She would be a wonderful fit for an active, interactive family ready to match her enthusiastic, loving energy.Faye adores other dogs and is always ready to make a new friend, even if the feeling is not immediately mutual. She has met cats without any aggression and would likely do well with a dog-savvy cat who can set boundaries with her. She greets bigger and smaller humans alike with great enthusiasm, so she would do best with dog-savvy kids who can provide some structure around their interactions. Faye is a smart girl who enjoys enrichment toys, walks, and playing with her dog friends. She is fully crated throughout the day and overnight without issues, though she may voice her opinion briefly when first settling in. She is mostly house trained and does best when taken outside right after meals and with a consistent outdoor routine, and she is continuing to make great progress. She walks nicely on leash, joyful hops and all. This sweet, extroverted girl is ready to leap right into her forever family's heart. Could Faye be the one for you? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. Good with dogs: YesGood with cats: Unknown, likely yesGood with kids: YesCrate trained: Yes House trained: Yes This foxy lady is Moxie! An adorable mixed breed with the sweetest soul and the cutest face to match. Moxie is a gentle, loving girl with a fun, playful side—she especially loves romping around the yard, zooming with excitement, and enjoying her favorite squeak toys and chew bones. While she may seem a little reserved at first, but after a short period she blossoms into the most loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to be by your side.Moxie shines when it comes to making friends! She does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. She’s also done great with kids and has a calm, mild-mannered nature, especially around smaller dogs. While she hasn’t met cats just yet, her gentle demeanor suggests she could do just fine. This smart girl is already making great progress with her training. Moxie is mostly crate trained but may whine for a short period initially, and is doing well with a regular potty routine and consistency. She is working on her leash skills but enjoys getting out to sniff the flowers. With her eagerness to please and bright mind, she’s ready to keep growing with a family who will guide her along the way. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion with a heart full of love, Moxie might just be your perfect match—come meet her and see for yourself! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Unknown, likely yesGood with kids: Yes, dog savvy childrenCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: Yes Audie Murphy is a sweet, gentle, and submissive little guy. He craves positive attention and affection. He has a medium energy level with bursts of higher energy. His ideal home would be a patient one to allow him to learn to trust humans at his own pace.Audie enjoys being in a home with other happy dogs but slow intros with new dogs help him gain confidence. He loves stuffed squeaky toys, deer antlers and chews, and especially regular meals and a clean crate to call his safe space. Audie would be good with older, dog savvy kids since he can be shy at first and prefers a calmer environment. He has seen outdoor cats and showed no interest, so would likely coexist with a feline sibling.Audie is both crate and house trained and is used to being in his crate when home alone. He walks well on a leash in familiar surroundings, but might hang back in new places.Audie has come a long way since leaving shelter life behind him. He would love a new family to make him feel safe and he will give so much love in return! Story
Ira is an (almost) 11-year-old Border Collie mix, though people are routinely surprised when they find out his age! He has the energy of a much younger dog. At 32 pounds, he's big enough to have a real presence but small enough to scoop up as needed. Through no fault of his own, Ira needs a new home as he is not so sure about the toddler in the family.Ira is happiest when he's with YOU. Whether you are looking for a companion for long walks or a buddy to curl up on the couch with (or both!), Ira is your guy. He's a charmer with a stellar track record of winning over dog people and non-dog people alike through his affectionate and snuggly demeanor. Ira is a little smarty-pants who knows his commands (sit, stay, shake, roll over — though he can only roll to his left!).Ira would do best with adults or teenagers only at home. He is uneasy around young children and is leash reactive to other dogs. He has NO major medical issues.
