He is doing well being fostered with a canine sibling in the suburbs, his foster shares, “Trevor is a joy to foster and probably the laziest heeler around town. He loves to be loved and has so much love to give to his future humans!”Trevor is a medium energy pup, where he loves going on walks and is perfectly content with chilling by your feet. He gets along well with other dogs of all ages and sizes. He would do great with another doggy sibling to show him the world isn’t so scary but is not required. Trevor would prefer a little extra space and time to get to know kid or cat siblings in the home, so he’d do best with ones that are dog-savvy. His favorite things include cuddles, birds to watch, and a good spa day with a pawdicure and blowout! He is also crate trained and housetrained. He is crated occasionally throughout the day and sleeps in there overnight without any issues. Trevor would make a great work from home buddy or doggy daycare candidate. He also hasn’t had any issues with his potty training and knows to go outside. Trevor walks well on leash and walks in a nearly perfect heel right by your side. He is very interested in bunnies and squirrels on his walks but can redirect well. Trevor would benefit from a patient owner who’s excited to continue his training and is willing to learn or experienced with working breeds. Is this affectionate, spunky boy the one for you? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. She is sweet, a tad sassy and is 100% adorable!Colada plays well with her sister and an older dog in her foster home. She has not been around cats, but as a young puppy, she will learn to cohabit with them. She is good with kids, but is still at the mouthy puppy phase, so should be supervised with small children.Colada goes into her covered crate willingly for a treat and use of the "kennel" command. She may cry/bark for a couple of minutes, but settles quickly. She is working on house training but will use puppy pads if available. Colada is receptive to learning, very food motivated and eager to please! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Unknown, likely yesGood with kids: Yes, dog savvy childrenCrate trained: Unknown (Has not been regularly crated)House Trained: Mostly (1-2 accidents/week; just needs time and consistency)Sweet and chill, Thelma has an abundance of love to give. On the quieter side, she is obedient, smart, and eager to please.Any home should work for Thelma. With the ability to play and to relax with her toys and her people, she should fit in well with any household. Dog friendly, she loves to play and run with other pups almost as much as she enjoys playing with kids. Thelma is still learning not to jump up excitedly when greeting new people.Thelma will alert by jingling door bells when she wants to go outside. Her accidents are very infrequent and typically only happen when she does not want to go out in the rain. While she does great on a leash, she has not been regularly crated or exposed to cats. Thelma will hide and hoard the treats that she is not ready to eat immediately. While she especially relishes lying outside in the sun, she should be monitored as she does have some history of digging at fences. Loving and adaptable, Thelma cannot wait to move into her forever home! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. Story
Ace has been my loving companion since I adopted him in November. He is 7 months old and full of energy. I adopted him from a rescue in Texas. He is good with children and loves other dogs. We recently moved from a quiet neighborhood to the center of a busy city. Ace is struggling with the new environment and has developed separation anxiety. I will be going back to school in the next few months and unfortunately will not have the time or flexibility to give Ace the proper time and attention he deserves. I would love to rehome Ace with an active family who preferably already owns dogs. Although he is a good boy I can imagine he will need some direction and stricter training. No rehoming fee required, just looking for a perfect home for my perfect friend.

Story
Meet Murphy, our adorable little Border Collie Mix boy puppy who was rescued from a small town shelter where he was under weight and riddled with internal parasites.  His future was very bleak but now Murphy has been treated and is a healthy, happy little guy free of parasites and gaining weight like a puppy should.  Born around November 1st, he is approximately 10 weeks old (as of Jan 5th) and weighs 12 pounds.  He is expected to reach around 40 pounds as an adult.  He is friendly with all humans (toddlers included), dogs and cats that he has been in contact with.  Murphy is curious, playful and very loveable and is quite the talker.  Murphy seems to be the most curious of his siblings.  His foster mom believes he is mixed with many different breeds that are smart and inquisitive.  If you are interested please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm
