He plays very well with other dogs as he reads their cues and understands their willingness to play and engages accordingly.Any home should work for Trevor. Because of his breeds, he will sometimes try to herd both children and cats; however, he does it instinctively with no aggression.Trevor will whine for a few minutes in the crate, but he eventually settles in. He is also fully house trained. While his leash experience is minimal, he has done well and should master it quickly.Who is ready to welcome Trevor into their home? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. She is sweet, a tad sassy and is 100% adorable!Colada plays well with her sister and an older dog in her foster home. She has not been around cats, but as a young puppy, she will learn to cohabit with them. She is good with kids, but is still at the mouthy puppy phase, so should be supervised with small children.Colada goes into her covered crate willingly for a treat and use of the "kennel" command. She may cry/bark for a couple of minutes, but settles quickly. She is working on house training but will use puppy pads if available. Colada is receptive to learning, very food motivated and eager to please! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. Story
Piper is a loved and well trained dog. She knows many basic commands (sit, stay, come, crate). She’s good with older kids but not great with toddlers or very young kids. She’s good with most other dogs. She’s a great hiking buddy. She’s 3.5, I’ve had her since she was about 4 months old. Her father is a border collie and working farm dog, Piper inherited his intelligence and drive. My schedule doesn’t allow me to give her as much daily exercise and stimulation as she needs. Her boredom leads to aggression toward my older dog. An ideal situation for her would be an active person or couple, family with older teens, an adopter interested in agility training, a runner who needs a daily running buddy, or a farm or environment where she could have a “job.” Shes incredibly smart, affectionate, she just needs more exercise and activity than I can give her. She’s up to date on all shots, 42 lbs, and eats a standard diet (no known allergies).

Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: UnknownGood with kids: Yes, 13+Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesGrizzly James is a really good boy who loves to snuggle and hang out with his humans. In fact, he thinks he is a lapdog despite his size!Grizzly James has yet to meet a toy he doesn’t like, but he is an expert at surgically deconstructing stuffed toys, so he is better suited for tougher toys like bones, Kongs, rubber rings, etc. When he is not entertaining himself with toys he likes to make very silly noises to get your attention and remind you that he is nearby in case you have the sudden urge to give him belly rubs.Grizzly James is extremely smart and considers himself to be a mischievous mastermind. His fosters have noted he sometimes buries his food bowl under his blanket to try and fool his humans into thinking he hasn’t received dinner yet and should be fed again. He is a lovable goofball and is looking for someone that will enjoy his antics!Grizzly James is crate trained and house trained. He also knows ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and is currently working on mastering ‘down’. He loves car rides and will try to rest his snoot on your shoulder despite being in the backseat and buckled into his car harness.Grizzly James has shown lots of improvement when walking on a leash over the last few months. He is not a ‘puller’, but will try to chase after cars (or those pesky squirrels) from time to time and uses all his body weight to lunge into the move. He is deceptively strong for such a compact fellow, so a firm hand on the leash is a must when waddling him about town. His current foster walks him on a transitional lead and has found this to be a key to success when walking him on a leash.Grizzly James is so excited to find his forever family! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. She is a curious and shy pup who is learning to break out of her shell each day. Inez’s ideal home would include an active, patient family who is committed to continuing her training and helping her build her confidence.Inez gets along well with dogs and may need some extra space and time to get to know them. She is learning her manners and taking cues from others. Once she makes friends, Inez loves to play with other dogs and would thrive in a mentally-stimulating environment or agility classes. Inez would do just fine with cats and dog-savvy children in the home. She is crate trained and housetrained. Inez goes into the crate with no issue and sleeps in their overnight without a peep. She has worked really hard on her potty training and is accident-free on a regular routine and schedule. Inez is doing great on her leash and continuing to navigate the world more confidently each day. Inez has so much love to give and would make a great addition to any family! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website.
