Meet Ahtty! This affectionate boy is always ready to make a new friend—and hopefully find a family of his own! Age: 3 years Sex: Neutered male Breed: Border Collie mix Colour: Brown & white Weight: 15 kg / 33 lbs Shoulder height: 45 cm / 17.7 inches Rescue Story Ahtty was rescued from a municipal shelter in May 2026. He currently lives at a rescue dog café in Korea, sharing his days with around 20 other dogs while waiting for his forever home. With People Ahtty loves meeting people! When visitors arrive, he approaches them first, snuggles into them, and asks for pets. Loud voices may startle him, but he doesn’t typically retreat or run away. His main caregiver is a man, and he is comfortable with men, although he seems especially drawn to female visitors. He can be picked up and held, and once he gets to know you, he’ll happily show you his belly! With Other Dogs Ahtty is friendly with dogs of all sizes. He approaches both familiar and new dogs to say hello and invite them to play. With Cats During a brief cat test, Ahtty showed interest without aggression. His experience with cats is limited, so gradual, supervised introductions would be needed. Energy & Walks Ahtty has a moderate energy level. He enjoys outdoor activities and settles down to rest afterward. He tends to pull on the leash, but generally follows his handler well and would benefit from continued leash practice. Other Habits • He has shown no food guarding toward people or other dogs. • He may bark to ask for something he wants. • He stays calm when placed in a kennel. • He currently uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor spaces for potty breaks. • He may mark in a new environment. Hi everyone! I am a very handsome 8-month-old, 30.2 lb Border Collie/Shepherd mix named Moose. I was one of a litter of five stray puppies brought into the Port Lavaca, Texas Animal Shelter and promptly set for euthanasia. It’s a hard life in this region. With lots of ranches and industry, working dogs and stray dogs, the shelter is too small to house everyone. Thankfully, 4 Little Paws Rescue has been taking us all in, fully vetting everyone, and placing us in foster homes from here to San Antonio! My foster mom says I’m a sweetheart, a diamond in the “ruff,” a shy boy at first, but after a couple of days, I’m feeling safe and warming up. I love squeaky dog toys, lick mats with peanut butter or pumpkin, playtime with my doggy friends, and I know how to play gently with smaller dogs and puppies. I am affectionate, love pets and sweet baby talk, and my favorite place to lounge and sprawl out flat like a pancake is on the floor near you. I’m smart, and I’m a people pleaser, very much a good boy, easily redirected from any mischievous puppy shenanigans. I am doing great with housebreaking, rarely have accidents, and will go outside when directed. I am not picky about food; in fact, I love anything offered, and I am gentle when taking a treat from your hand. Inquire about me today. Adoption Fee: $450 * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. Scrappy is a mix breed 3 and a half yr old, 47lb, neutered male. Scrappy was surrendered by his family after the New Year to the shelter. He was on the euthanasia list from a local shelter, but fortunately, we were able to find a foster to take him in and got him adopted in November 2026. Unfortunately, the family did not follow our guideline, continue to work with his trainer, and allowed Scrappy to regress. Scrappy is a very protective family dog. He needs time to be introduced to people so he can feel comfortable with them. He's great with commands, loves to play and show his gratitude by giving you kisses. His best friends were his former adopter's dog and his foster's cat, He’s smart dog who will make for a great family pet but will need someone devoted to helping him overcome his fears of strangers. We don't charge adoption fees but we do require a background check, profession, annual income, if application is approved, copy of pet insurance policy for Scrappy, and invoice of training sessions is required.
