Story
Disclaimer: I'm currently soaking up the Texas sun, but the great news is that I can be transported to my forever home once adopted, and the transport fee is $230.My journey began when I was surrendered, along with my four precious puppies, because my family couldn't provide the care I needed. I'm a bundle of energy and an incredible jumper! My foster mom thinks I have all the potential to excel in agility training courses. While I absolutely adore the company of other dogs, I'm not a fan of being on my own, so a home with a calmer dog would be a perfect fit to help me settle. I'm a social butterfly who cherishes my human companions and still carries that puppy-like spirit in my heart. In my previous home, I was raised alongside three children, aged 8 to 16, so I'm sure to thrive in an energetic family environment. If you're looking for a furry friend who's ready to embark on adventures with you, look no further. Apply today and let's make a fantastic team!*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Joplin is an approx. 6 year old, 60lb Border Collie/German Shepherd mix. He is smart, goofy, cuddly, and obviously drop dead gorgeous!! Joplin is cat neutral and LOVES to play with other dogs of all sizes. He walks great on a leash and loves playing with toys, crates well, and is potty trained with a routine. He can be a bit reserved in new situations, but he’s got a ton of spunk and a puppy-like personality! Joplin is one of the 7 dogs who came to us from another rescue after being saved from a hoarding situation in KY where dogs were living chained outside in deplorable conditions and despite his previous treatment, he’s a forgiving soul and has all the love in the world left to give to his new forever family. Joplin is fully vetted and ready for adoption, but you can always try our foster-to-adopt program if you want to make sure he’s the perfect fit for you. If you’re interested in adopting Joplin or getting pre-approved for any of our other dogs, please fill out an adoption application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt

Story
Name: Lance DOB: 10/21/23 Breed: Border Collie / Shepard Mix Sex: Male Weight: 45 lbs  I’m Lance, a shy guy looking for a quieter home and if there is a confident dog in the house, that would be extremely helpful. I do best watching and learning from my dog friends. I’m so not a fan of being alone, so if you work from home, are retired, or just a stay-at-home type person, I’m your dog! I need a fenced in yard to run run run around (with another dog would be best)! Did you know I like to run? I love to play with other dogs and I even get along with those things that MEOW.When we meet, please remember, I’m shy, let’s do intro’s slowly so I can smell where you came from It takes me a bit to be comfortable, but I am so worth it! I am a love once I know I can trust you.If you're interested in adopting Lance please apply at 716paws.org/adopt or if you're preapproved message the facebook page! ##1875256##

Her ideal home would have an outdoor space for her to play. She would love to have a doggy sister or brother. She would fit into size family. She would be a great walking companion or any other adventure you have planned. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She can travel anywhere in the US and Canada. ##1760149##

Story
They are quite the dynamic duo. Lolo is big sister and protector - of both her human family and her brother Casey. And Casey is the goofball who wants nothing more than to play and give kisses. They are brother and sister and we want them adopted together. They love to spend their time romping in the yard and taking leisurely walks around the ranch. These beautiful and loyal companions would make great additions to an active family. They are fully vaccinated, neutered and spayed, and microchipped for life. They can be transported anywhere in the US or Canada. ##1939561##

Story
Duke was born about December 02, 2018 (vet paperwork says 2020, but we feel a bit older) and will fill out to about 60 pounds.  With decent food and care he is going to have a gorgeous, medium length, fur.  He was found wandering in a nearby town and the family that took him in had a small and medium dog and he did well with them as well as their child about 5.  Another (somewhat older) gentleman decided to adopt him and he was just too busy (as typical of breed mixes).  The gentleman did find out that Duke is house trained, very good in the car, fine on leash and he will run after and retrieve a ball back to your feet!  When he is approached on a run line he will play bounce at the human hoping for attention.  Even though he appears more Border Collie than Husky he has a good time whooping it up when the urge hits.   Woooowooowoo.  He was found wandering and no one claimed him from dog control and this gentleman did feel it not inside or on a cable that he would have wanderlust.  So, if you are up for some activity with a playful, fun, loving dog - this guy is for you! Duke did very well for his cat test and we feel he would be fine living with one! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $400.00. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.   Can't Adopt Me?  SPONSOR ME Look for the Link 'Special Instructions to Seller' if you want to note a particular pet Before you seek to adopt a pet from Joyful Rescues, please read our Pet Adoption page http://www.joyfulrescues.org/pet_adoption.html.
