Hi Buffalo! I’m Trixie, a 2 year old border collie mix from the state of Texas. I’ve come to the land of Josh Allen to find my forever home   I’m a little anxious but excited to be hereBecause I can be nervous in new environments and with new people, I think I would prefer a home without small children. In my experiences with other dogs, I can be a bit selective but I am  super cat friendly (I completely ignore, and am a little scared of, my feline foster brother)   I’m very smart and know sit and love my belly rubbed. I’ll happily flop down and roll over for some love and attention. I hope my forever family is out there, I’d love to be home for Christmas. She is a 4-year-old Border Collie mix, weighing 25 pounds, making her a nice medium-sized dog. Eloise was brought to us from Texas, where she was found as a stray. Eloise is far from your typical Border Collie—she's a total sweetheart with a calm and relaxed personality! She’s claimed the entranceway in her foster home as her cozy ‘den,’ where you’ll often find her snuggled up on her bed, happily watching the world go by.   Eloise gets along well with other dogs and loves to run and play with them in the yard.  She is all about tug-of-war with her toys! While she seems to be housetrained, keep in mind that she might need a little adjustment time when moving into a new home.   Right now, she’s working on her leash training, so she’ll need some practice in her new environment. A fenced yard is preferred (please, no invisible fences) to help keep her safe. Eloise is great in a crate, although she hasn't been in one for a while since she's not destructive at all in her foster home. Eloise has been around older kids at events and did fine with them.    She absolutely loves being brushed and does well with grooming. These pups are 8 week old Border Collie mixes who traveled all the way from Mississippi with 8 other pups to find their forever homes! We estimate that their adult weight will be somewhere between 40-50lbs. They are sweet, sassy, and full of life. They love to give kisses and enjoy playing outside. They are cat neutral and used to spending time with dogs of all sizes and ages. They currently sleep in a play pen and we have introduced a crate with an open door. They already prefer to go potty outside, but always use the potty pads if they have to go over night. So smart already! Please note, these 3 pups will not leave for their forever homes for another 2 weeks and will need 2 more rounds of vaccinations after that (covered by the rescue along with spay/neuter when old enough). Until fully vaccinated puppies should only explore your home or yard on the ground, but can go out for adventures and socialization with their paws off the ground. No long distance adoptions please!
