Story
If you're looking for a smart, energetic, and loyal companion, Callie may just be your perfect match! Callie is around 3 years old and 42 lb.  Callie is the type of dog who loves to be surrounded by her people. Whether it's lounging on the couch after a fun play session or keeping a close eye on the backyard (because, you know, squirrels must be chased), she’s content as long as she’s by your side. She’s also a fan of training, especially when there’s a treat involved! She has been working hard at learning to train with a clicker and has already shown us that she’s a smart cookie who catches on quickly. She would love a family who enjoys teaching her new tricks and can continue her training.  Callie is a social butterfly – with just a few boundaries! She gets along well with dogs but is a bit selective and would best in a home where she is an only dog, and is good with cats.  Because she's still young and energetic, we think she'd do best in a home with an active person or older kids who can match her playfulness and help her continue learning her manners.   Callie is a playful, active girl who would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard. She loves running, chewing on a bone and licking up some peanut butter, but most of all, she’d love to be part of your family!     The Details:   House-trained: Yes!  Crate-trained: Absolutely.  Sleep habits: Callie sleeps through the night in her crate like a champ.  Likes: Training, chewing on toys, snuggling, fetching her favorite orange ball, and close cuddles  Dislikes: sharing toys with other doggy friends Callie's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting Callie, apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet & greet can be set up once approved. ##1796784##

Story
Meet Tigger! He enjoys playing and exploring outside, happily hopping around the yard and following along with his doggy friends, but his favorite place is wherever the cuddles are. This tiny boy absolutely loves other dogs and does great with them. He's the kind of pup who enjoys companionship and will happily join the pack for outdoor adventures. When it's time to rest, Tigger turns into the ultimate snuggle bug. He loves curling up close and will always try to tuck himself right next to someone when it's time to sleep. He also does very well in his kennel and settles in nicely for naps.Tigger is a quick learner with a sweet, gentle nature. If you're looking for a puppy who enjoys playtime but truly shines as a cozy, affectionate companion, Tigger might be the perfect little addition to your family. Apply to me Tigger at ricopetrecovery.org.The adoption fee for Tigger is $350. The fee includes the first two sets of puppy shots, the neuter surgery and a microchip at our partner veterinarian. Story
Meet Weston. He is 8 weeks old. He is part of a litter of 9 that was dumped in a Nature Reserve. Weston's breeds are unknown but his looks and personality remind us of a Border Collie mix, maybe with a Pitbull mix.Weston loves other dogs, and kids. He is curious of cats but is scared to approach. He's smart as a whip, learning potty training like a champ! Weston already knows to sit and loves to be cuddled. He also loves balls to play with. He's a leader for sure. He sits for his food but only after he barks with excitement. He knows when he's asked to go to bed and goes to his crate (although sometimes he runs away like 'nope not time for bed yet').He makes his foster mama laugh hard every day. If you would like to add this little bundle of joy to your family, you can apply to meet him at ricopetrecovery.org. The adoption fee for Weston is $350. The fee includes the first two sets of puppy shots. The adopter is responsible for the 3rd and 4th sets of puppy shots and any subsequent veterinary care. The adoption fee also includes the neuter surgery and a microchip at our partner veterinarian when he is old enough to be neutered.

Story
Meet Finn. He is 8 weeks old. Finn is part of a litter of 9 that was dumped in a Nature Reserve. He is seriously the most chill puppy. He loves to nap as much as he loves to play. He's a curious Lil guy but then gets scared of his own shadow. He likes alone time after a short time of playing and will go off to nap while the others play. The sweetest thing Finn does is when you hold him he hugs you with his paws on both sides of your neck and lays his head on your shoulder to sleep. Finn's breed mix is unknown. But based on his looks and personality he looks like a border Collie mix, maybe with a Pittbull mix. Finn is just the sweetest soul. You can apply to meet Finn at ricopetrecovery.org. The adoption fee for Finn is $350. The fee includes the first two sets of puppy shots. The adopter is responsible for the 3rd and 4th sets of puppy shots and any subsequent veterinary care. The adoption fee also includes the neuter surgery and a microchip at our partner veterinarian when he is old enough to be neutered.

Story
Don't let the name fool you-Piglet may be tiny, but she is packed with sweetness and personality! This little girl is equal parts playful and snuggly. When she's not busy hopping around the yard and pouncing like a tiny bunny, she's perfectly happy curling up for a cozy nap.Piglet loves being outside where she can explore, bounce around, and follow the lead of her doggy friends. She absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful companion to show her the ropes, but would also be fine a solo pup. She's also a smart cookie! Piglet learns quickly and is already doing great in her kennel, where she settles in nicely for the night. Her easygoing nature and eagerness to learn will make training fun and rewarding. If you're looking for a tiny pup with a big heart one who will play hard, nap well, and melt into your arms-Piglet might just be your perfect match.Apply to meet Piglet at ricopetrecovery.org. The adoption fee for Piglet is $350. The fee includes the first two sets of puppy shots at our partner vet. Additional vaccines are the responsibility of the adopter at their own veterinarian. The adoption fee also includes the spay surgery and a microchip at our partner veterinarian.
