Story
THIS GUY! Wow! He has come a LONG away since he's been in our care. He was scheduled for euthanasia simply because they were out of room. He and his brother Happy. So a Good Samaritan pulled them both and spared them from certain death. They have been amazing, becoming very social because they have been attending doggy daycare everyday and receiving hands in one on one professional training! Captain is approx 7-8 months old. He's shy at first around new things but warms up quickly. He is kennel trained and house trained and it goes without saying he's dog friendly since he attends doggy daycare! He's super easy to get along with just needs a patient family because he is a bit shy at first around new things. He's with Kip and Michele in their home in Memphis, Tn. Once an application has been submitted and approved Kip, who has been working with Captain one on one for several months, will speak to you and tell you all about him. Transport cost is an additional $185. If you would like to make Captain a part of your family Please follow the link below to our adoption application . https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Skye (female) and Sam (male). Take a peek at these blond beauties!!! They have the sweetest eyes and pretty pick piggy noses. These two are just a bundle of bouncing happiness. They are learning what it is like to be cuddled and think they like it so far. They just got into their foster home located in Memphis, Tennessee and were a little shy to begin with but that is getting less and less daily (practically hourly). They love to romp and play with each other and are very curious about the adult dogs in the home. These two are catching on to the good life fast and seem to be quick learners. Once adopted they will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to their new family. They travel each and every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make either one of these cuties part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

STOP! The cuteness is unfathomable! Imagine a pint sized nugget that gives a little grunt when you go in for a squeeze/hug. Taffy and Tilly are loving life right now not much to do other than eat, play, sleep, repeat. They frolic until pooped then snuggle down for a nice long nap. They both have the sweetest dispositions. They are in a foster home in Memphis , Tn with other foster doggies and lots of comings and goings so very well adjusted to noises like vacuum cleaners, barking dogs, washing machines and general daily chaos . Once adopted, they will travel to the northeast via Rescue Vet Transport. (additional cost of $185). They leave Memphis, Tennessee each weekend, Friday mornings, usually around 6 AM and make transport stops along the route all the way up to West Greenwich, Rhode Island. If you would like to make one of these cuties a part of your family, please follow the link below to our adoption application. As always, thank you for choosing to adopt! You will find that our team of volunteers are very responsive so be prepared to adopt before submitting your application. Story
Meet Ginny our resident super mutt!! While we aren't sure of her exact breeds, we were told she is part Australian Shepherd. All we do know is she is the sweetest girl, weighs in at 35lbs and is around 8 months old! She had a rough start to life being a puppy mill survivor and being Lyme + but after lots of TLC and patience, she has started to show what a great dog she can be !   Ginny has just finished our prison training program and is ready to find her furever home! She would do best in a home with other dogs and cats should be fine (although we haven’t officially tested her). She will absolutely need a fenced in yard due to her being nervous in new situations . With patient owners, Ginny will open up and show all the love and affection. She loves attention from those she trusts! Ginny would be okay in a home with older kids as long as they give her some time to adjust. She has been in our training program for a few weeks now and ready for her first ever home/family!   Ginny is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and HW negative. She is also crate trained, potty trained and has a good understanding of basic commands. If you think this beautiful girl would be a good fit for your family, please apply at www.prodogsohio.org/adoptables   Her adoption fee is $350  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We appreciate your support, in order to help us continue to rescue dogs! Donations can be made via our PayPal account - info@prodogsohio.org. You must be willing to commute to the location that the pet is being fostered in order to be eligible to adopt. We do not ship our pets. We also require that you personally bring the pet back to us should the adoption not work out.   We do NOT negotiate adoption fees. All money goes to support our rescue operation. We are 100% volunteered based. We require your current dog(s) to be current on vaccines and heartworm prevention.  Apply online at www.prodogsohio.org, under the Adoptables tab. Due to the volume of apps and inquiries, we may not be able to respond to everyone.July 18, 2024, 12:09 am
