Story
"Fig" came to me from a woman trying to find a better home for an accident litter. Her coat/eyes/ears all look good but she is very skinny for a puppy. She's a good little dog, though. Very attentive to her people and she bonds easily, definition of a velcro dog. She seems to be very smart, is learning sit and we are working on house training. She is around 8 months old, very submissive type, I don't think she has been treated very well. Told she was a black lab/border collie, but she is tiny. She is high energy, very curious as puppies should be, but loves to snuggle up.What we have learned; She is GREAT at using her puppy pads and getting better at letting us know when she needs to go out.She is a nervous nelly. She is respectful of the cats. She does not know how to play with toys, so she does have some plaque. She is not a fan of being crated, but getting better quickly

To make the adoption process faster and easier, please visit www.almosthomeohio.org and complete our online application!Todd is a 2 yr old Border Collie mix and new to our rescue.  Todd will welcome you with a BIG “hello!” This goofy guy is overjoyed when he meets people, jumping to greet them and zooming around! Todd is an active pup who loves to socialize with humans and has the kind of personality that makes him a great companion for adventures big and small. With all that energy, he would likely do best with regular exercise. He can also be a total cuddlebug and loves his daily snuggles.   His enthusiasm abounds! Todd has eagerly made some canine friends and brings the same over-the-top enthusiasm to playtime. He loves the outdoors, rolling around in the grass and running around. Due to his playful energy, he would likely do best in a home with another active dog who can handle his lively personality. A fenced-in yard would be a bonus for this fun-loving guy.   Todd’s foster family says he’s eager to learn and ready to please. Motivated by treats, he’s already mastered “sit” and “down,” and he’s improving on leash walking. This black-and-white sweetie will put a smile on your face and will be a loyal, loving companion in his forever home.  Dont forget to visit our informative website, www.almosthomeohio.org, for valuable information and interesting features.June 5, 2026, 8:38 am

Story
Hey there, I'm Van. I am a 55 pound border collie lab mix, and about a year and a half old. I'm a pretty big guy and still have lots of puppy energy, but I am calming down a bit! I am very sweet and great with everyone. I love kids but because I am big and energetic, I probably shouldn't live with small children. I also love to learn so I would be a great dog for someone wanting to do agility, sports or even running with me. Hurry up and apply for me. I look forward to meeting you! Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start March 8, 2026, 11:18 pm

Story
Meet the cool dude of the litter. Oaklee has the cutest face on the planet, a calm, laid-back personality, and the kind of quiet confidence that makes everyone gravitate toward him. If puppies could wear sunglasses and somehow pull it off, it would be this guy. He's happy to join in on playtime but doesn't feel the need to be the center of attention. He knows how to have fun, then kick back and relax when the excitement is over. In fact, he's so easygoing that he'll fall asleep just about anywhere—a lap, a dog bed, the middle of the room... wherever the mood strikes. With his easy charm, sweet nature, and movie-star good looks, this handsome boy has mastered the art of being both playful and chill. If you're looking for a best friend who can keep up with the fun and then happily snooze by your side, this cool little guy might just be your perfect match. The Lee Litter can start meeting potential adopters. They can go home with their adopters starting 6/29. Adoption fee is $400. If you choose to return to our vet for the spay/neuter, the adoption fee will include the spay/neuter and the microchip. Apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet and greet can be set up once approved.  ##2740078##

Story
This fluffy boy is truly one of a kind—he marches to the beat of his own drum and has a personality all his own. With the fluffiest coat in the litter and adorable fawn spots on his head, he’s as eye-catching as he is charming. He’s an active, social pup who enjoys playing with his siblings and staying right in the middle of the fun. At the same time, he’s got his own opinions and isn’t shy about letting you know when something’s up or when he’s ready for attention. When the excitement winds down, he’s usually the last one to settle in for the night—too curious about what’s still happening around him to rush off to sleep. Once he finally does, though, he’s all cozied up and content. Full of personality, fluff, and heart, this little guy is sure to keep life interesting and fun for his future family.
