Story
Bexley is a wonderful dog who is house trained, LOVES people, loves other dogs and doesn't mind cats. We have 2 young kids and she is very jealous that she does not get as much attention. For that reason, she would do best in a home where she can be your little baby, although she does not mind sharing the spotlight with other animals. She is gorgeous and low maintenance, she just likes to sleep, play and go on shorter walks with her people.

Todd is an active pup who loves to socialize with humans and has the kind of personality that makes him a great companion for adventures big and small. With all that energy, he would likely do best with regular exercise. He can also be a total cuddlebug and loves his daily snuggles.   His enthusiasm abounds! Todd has eagerly made some canine friends and brings the same over-the-top enthusiasm to playtime. He loves the outdoors, rolling around in the grass and running around. Due to his playful energy, he would likely do best in a home with another active dog who can handle his lively personality. A fenced-in yard would be a bonus for this fun-loving guy.   Todd’s foster family says he’s eager to learn and ready to please. Motivated by treats, he’s already mastered “sit” and “down,” and he’s improving on leash walking. This black-and-white sweetie will put a smile on your face and will be a loyal, loving companion in his forever home.  Dont forget to visit our informative website, www.almosthomeohio.org, for valuable information and interesting features.May 26, 2026, 3:02 pm

Story
Hey there, I'm Van. I am a 55 pound border collie lab mix, and about a year and a half old. I'm a pretty big guy and still have lots of puppy energy, but I am calming down a bit! I am very sweet and great with everyone. I love kids but because I am big and energetic, I probably shouldn't live with small children. I also love to learn so I would be a great dog for someone wanting to do agility, sports or even running with me. Hurry up and apply for me. I look forward to meeting you! Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start March 8, 2026, 11:18 pm

Story
Meet Wynetta 💕 Wynetta is a spirited, high energy girl who is ready to find a family that can keep up with her enthusiasm for life. Found as a stray, she hasn’t let her past define her and is focused on all the exciting adventures ahead. She is incredibly sweet and loves being around her people. Wynetta can get a little jumpy when she is excited because she just has so much love to share. For that reason, she would do best in a home with children over 12 who can handle her enthusiastic greetings. With consistency and positive reinforcement, she is going to thrive. She is already spayed and ready to head home with her forever family. Wynetta is eager to learn and ready for training, structure, and plenty of exercise. Long walks, hikes, playtime, and learning new tricks will help her shine. She is looking for someone who will channel her energy in positive ways and enjoy having a fun, active companion by their side. If you are searching for a loyal, energetic best friend who will keep you smiling and, on your toes, Wynetta may be the perfect match for you 💗

Story
Ranger is a loving, energetic dog who brings lots of joy and personality wherever he goes. He loves to play, cuddle, and spend time with his people. He gets along well with other dogs and would do great either as a solo pet soaking up all the attention or with another canine companion to play with. We are looking to rehome Ranger because our family recently added livestock to our mini farm, and unfortunately he does not do well around goats, chickens, or large open acreage. Ranger would thrive much more in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can safely run, play, and relax. He is a sweet boy with a big heart and lots of love to give, and we want to find him a home where he can truly be successful and happy.
