Story
Archie is a handsome, big boy. He loves to play, run, and be with his people. He likes to sleep on the couch and be with you while you are in the kitchen. Our favorite part about Archie is how excited he gets to see you. He has a lot of characteristic features, like sad eyes, a big scruff, and talking!. He also has quite a sense of humor for a dog! Archie has mastered the "sit" and "come here" commands and is learning more, like "shake" and "stay". He is able to quickly catch onto new things. We are working on his training, as he still has puppy tendencies. At this point, he is not cat friendly. The temptation to chase is too strong. Archie is the last from a litter of 8. He and another litter mate have a different coat type. He has a slick, shiny coat, more like a labrador, rather than a fluffy and soft one. Located in North Texas, Transport availbel and fee included

Story
Hey there, I'm Van. I am a 55 pound border collie lab mix, and about a year and a half old. I'm a pretty big guy and still have lots of puppy energy, but I am calming down a bit! I am very sweet and great with everyone. I love kids but because I am big and energetic, I probably shouldn't live with small children. I also love to learn so I would be a great dog for someone wanting to do agility, sports or even running with me. Hurry up and apply for me. I look forward to meeting you! Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start February 16, 2026, 9:16 am

Story
If you're looking for a smart, energetic, and loyal companion, Callie may just be your perfect match! Callie is around 3 years old and 42 lb.  Callie is the type of dog who loves to be surrounded by her people. Whether it's lounging on the couch after a fun play session or keeping a close eye on the backyard (because, you know, squirrels must be chased), she’s content as long as she’s by your side. She’s also a fan of training, especially when there’s a treat involved! She has been working hard at learning to train with a clicker and has already shown us that she’s a smart cookie who catches on quickly. She would love a family who enjoys teaching her new tricks and can continue her training.  Callie is a social butterfly – with just a few boundaries! She gets along well with dogs but is a bit selective, and is good with cats. She really enjoys going to doggy daycare at Camp Bow Wow, but she’d do best in a home where she is an only dog, or a home where introductions to new dog friends are slow and steady. Because she's still young and energetic, we think she'd do best in a home with an active person or older kids who can match her playfulness and help her continue learning her manners.   Callie is a playful, active girl who would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard. She loves running, chewing on a bone and licking up some peanut butter, but most of all, she’d love to be part of your family!     The Details:   House-trained: Yes!  Crate-trained: Absolutely.  Sleep habits: Callie sleeps through the night in her crate like a champ.  Likes: Training, chewing on toys, snuggling, fetching her favorite orange ball, and close cuddles  Dislikes: sharing toys with other doggy friends Callie's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting Callie, apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet & greet can be set up once approved. Story
Ezra is a border collie/Austalian Shephard mix. Adult 7 years old and was a rescue from the humane society. He is a very sweet dog, we believe he may have been at an abusive home before we rescued him due to how anxious he acts. He needs and deserves a loving family who can give him attention, unfortunately with having two toddlers we are not able to give that to him. He is low energy, likes to cuddle on the couch or bed instead of playing with toys.

Story
Meet Wynetta 💕 Wynetta is a spirited, high energy girl who is ready to find a family that can keep up with her enthusiasm for life. Found as a stray, she hasn’t let her past define her and is focused on all the exciting adventures ahead. She is incredibly sweet and loves being around her people. Wynetta can get a little jumpy when she is excited because she just has so much love to share. For that reason, she would do best in a home with children over 12 who can handle her enthusiastic greetings. With consistency and positive reinforcement, she is going to thrive. She is already spayed and ready to head home with her forever family. Wynetta is eager to learn and ready for training, structure, and plenty of exercise. Long walks, hikes, playtime, and learning new tricks will help her shine. She is looking for someone who will channel her energy in positive ways and enjoy having a fun, active companion by their side. If you are searching for a loyal, energetic best friend who will keep you smiling and, on your toes, Wynetta may be the perfect match for you 💗

Story
Bio for Roya • Name: Roya • Male or female? Female • Approximate Age: 1 year old • Breed: Australian Shepherd • Weight: 43 lbs • Any impairments: Mild vision impairment (cannot see someone across the street, but can see anything closer than that) • Potty trained? 95% potty trained. Accidents are rare at this point.  • Crate trained? Yes, her crate is her safe place.  • Good with other dogs? Yes, absolutely loves other dogs • Good with cats? Yes, amazing with cats. Very gentle.  • Good with kids? Yes, does well with calm children that are gentle and quiet and let her go at the pace she's comfortable with.  • Needs fenced in yard? No, she stays close to her people.  • Need another dog in the home? Yes, must have another confident, well-socialized, and playful dog in the home that will help her continue to come out of her shell  • Location: Westfield, IN • Energy level (high/med/low)? Low to medium (likes a mental challenge more than a physical one - e.g. puzzles, treat balls, etc. She is smart!) Bio: Hi there! My name is Roya. I am a shy girl who unfortunately, did not have the best start in life. Despite that, my foster mom says I'm one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet. Due to the scary situations I was exposed to in my previous homes, it takes me a bit of time to learn to trust new people. I promise though, once you show me I can trust you, I will be your personal shadow and full-time best friend! I love to cuddle and shower you in kisses. I also tend to wiggle my whole body when I'm happy. My foster mom says that one day I'm going to wiggle so hard that I'll take flight!  I'm a smart girl who is eager to please and easy to train. I also love other dogs! I absolutely love playing with the 3 dogs in my foster home. In fact, I'm yet to meet a dog I don't like! The dogs in my foster home have shown me the ropes and helped me understand that humans aren't always scary. I've grown a lot more confident with them around. Because of this, I will need another confident, well-socialized, and playful pup in my forever home to be my best friend and help me continue to build confidence.  Some things you should know about me:  I am leash and crate-trained. Actually, I love my crate! It's my safe space. I am also awesome with cats. I live with several cats in my foster home and am very gentle with all of them. I am also potty trained. I've never had an accident in my kennel and won't have an accident outside of my kennel as long as I am let out to potty every 6 hours. Easy enough, right? Overall, I'm a very sweet girl who only wants to find a family that will love her and make her feel safe. Could that be you? I'm estimated to be around 1 year old. I am up-to-date on vaccinations, flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, and am scheduled to be spayed prior to adoption. I am being fostered in Westfield, IN. ***PLEASE READ*** WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER OR EMAIL INQUIRIES. Please fill out an application on our website if you are interested in adopting this dog. It may take me a while to warm up to you but once I do, we can be best friends! I like to follow around my foster mom and sit right next to her, as close as I possibly can and I’m also easily redirected to my bed when she needs some space. I bark at the people and dogs walking by the house but I am very friendly when I meet them on walks and at the dog park. I like playing with all kinds of toys and bones, eating yummy snacks, going for walks and taking a nap. I also love a good game of fetch including bringing the ball right back to you and dropping it at your feet. Before coming to SPEAK I was a stray and needed surgery on my hip after being hit by a car. I am much happier now that I have healed can run around. I will need some hikes and runs at the park to continue to progress and build muscle in my back leg and some patience to work on my confidence. I promise it will be worth it! Are you waiting to fall in love? I’m spayed, microchipped and up to date on my vaccinations and prevention. What are you waiting for? Fill out an application so we can meet.
