Emmett is a good, good boy! Sweet Emmett is full of happy puppy energy! He'd do really well in a home with another playmate or with an active family! He's currently around 25 pounds but will get bigger! Emmettt would do best with older children due to his puppy energy! Emmet recently spent the weekend in a foster home, and we discovered that he is crate trained and settles right in the house! Simon is a 6 year old neutered male Border Collie mix. He was found on W. Friendship St. He was not wearing any identification and he is not microchipped. If you know where Simon belongs please call our office at 330-725-9121. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, a current year dog license, and a certificate to be spayed or neutered (The Dog Shelter pays for it). If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:30PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.

Bear is about a 3 year old energetic male. My mother got him and his sister while she was living in Idaho. They had 60 acres for the dogs to run around and play with plenty of time to show him attention. Since moving to Ohio, he has not been able to run around and burn energy, due to a smaller yard. His owner unfortunately does not have the time to give him the attention he needs.He has never been raised around children, he is a one owner dog to an older lady. If properly acclimated to children, he may be compatable. He has only been raised around his bilogical sister, and would need aclimated with other animals.Bear would be a great dog for someone with a lot of room to run around and to be one on one with him. He is potty-trained; he sometimes needs reinforcements when it’s been a while since he has been outside. He usually barks to let you know when he has to go. Bear loves playing fetch, so he can keep you and himself entertained for a very long time.

Meet Griddle!! He came in as a stray on 5/29/26. We think he is about 10 months old. He has gorgeous blue eyes and he is tall and lanky. He isn't done growing yet and he seems like he is still learning how to adjust to his growth spurts. He obviously has never walked on a leash so that is a learning curve for him. Practice makes perfect and he is starting to catch on. He is sweet and friendly and goofy. He is just a pup so he will need someone willing to teach him everything he needs to know to be a wonderful companion. He is available for adoption so hurry in to meet him!
