Oh, my goodness!! What a wonderful litter of six! Four months old, these Border Collie/Lab mixes weigh 25-30 pounds and will grow to between 60 and 70 pounds when they mature. They are good with other dogs, kids, and their foster's cat! Just watch them as they frolic in the play yard, tumbling and chasing. Then see how they plop into puppy naps, waking up ready to race around again! Delightful! (posted 3/7/26, TN) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **March 15, 2026, 1:34 pm

Story
PA Kennel License #5254Wags Rescue & ReferralSouthampton Pa 18966 Originated from ACCT KL 08313 Scrilla is a young, spayed female who is still learning about the world, but honestly? Her foster swears that some days Scrilla might be smarter than they are. Shes picking up common commands at lightning speed and is already doing wonderfully with house training. This girl loves to learn and truly wants to do the right thing she just needs someone who will keep her mind engaged and guide her as she grows. Scrilla recently had a tooth removed, handled it like a champ, and is feeling just fine. She isnt particularly fond of the crate, but she does well as long as she knows her person is nearby shes the type who finds comfort in connection. Shes currently learning how to walk politely on a leash, and while shes still figuring it out, her eagerness to learn makes her progress exciting to watch. She adores other dogs, is starting to discover what toys are (and how fun they can be!), and greets life with joyful enthusiasm. Scrilla can be a jumper, but its never anything but excitement and happiness bubbling over. Shes learning proper manners and would do best in a home with older children who can understand her energy and help reinforce calm, respectful interactions. There were some concerns raised about Scrillas eyes, so she was evaluated by an ophthalmologist. At this time, they feel that she can see and as for what the future holds well, isnt that true for all of us? Scrilla doesnt let it slow her down one bit, and what truly defines her isnt her eyesight, but her heart. At her core, Scrilla is simply a gentle girl affectionate, eager, and full of promise. Shes looking for a loving home that will continue to nurture her intelligence, guide her energy, and cherish her for the sweet, bright soul she is. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Scrilla is going to be an absolutely incredible companion. Story
Meet Zion.  He is a 5 year old mini Australian Shepherd and Poodle mix, who is looking for a new home because the family has young children and they make him very nervous.  Zion is incredibly intelligent, obedient, crate trained, and very loyal. He thrives on structure and routine and does best in a calm, predictable environment. He is also considered hypoallergenic, which may be helpful for some adopters. Zion would do best in an adult-only home or with older children as babies, children and older men make him nervous.  He should be the only pet in the household, as he does not do well with other dogs or cats. He would thrive with an experienced dog owner(s) who understands anxiety in dogs and can continue to build his confidence.  Zion’s likes include being outside, car rides, food, spending time with his people, structure, and chew toys. His dislikes include young children, older men, and other animals (dogs and cats). His energy level is relatively mild—he enjoys running around day to day but also spends a good amount of time lounging and sleeping. His typical daily schedule consists of waking up around 7–8 AM from his crate, going outside to go potty (he is fully house trained) approximately 4–5 times per day, eating one meal of dry kibble around dinner time, occasional walks at the park, and going to bed in his crate around 9–10 PM.  Please email us at Almosthome4dogs@yahoo.com if Zion sounds like the right dog for your family, (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php . We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us at AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com. To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line. For Meet & Greet times and locations, visit our home page, where you also will find information on our adoption process and fees. FOSTER FAMILIES ARE LIFESAVERS!! Can you open your heart and home for a few weeks to homeless shelter dog? Remember, by fostering a dog, you save TWO lives — that of your foster dog, and that of the dog who takes his place in the shelter! Come to a Meet & Greet and find out if fostering is for you — there's no reward quite like the feeling that you've saved a life ... or two!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 20, 2026, 8:12 pm
