Story
Meet Jessie's Girl!  This pretty girl is affectionate, playful, intelligent, and has lots of energy (but also has a "chill" side too).  Jessie absolutely loves attention and would make a great family pet with kids, dogs or cats. She has a submissive and sweet personality that you will fall in love with quickly. She is a bit shy with new people and dogs but very friendly with absolutely no trace of aggression. Jessie would make a great companion for an active family or someone who runs, cycles, and likes to hike.  Jessie loves to play and go for walks - she also loves her toys and if you play with her with a frisbee, ball, tug, or squeak toy she will be your BFF for life! She would love  an active family (maybe someone who jogs or cycles) or living on a large piece of property where she can run. Jessie is 3 years old and weighs about 40 lbs. - she is full grown so she's "right sized" for just about any home situation. She is also housetrained, good on a leash and a very good listener. We think Jessie is probably all or mostly Red Heeler (aka Cattle Dog).  If you are interested in meeting Jessie, please fill out an adoption application at www.northstarpets.org and be sure to mention her name!December 3, 2023, 6:59 pm

Story
Meet Jinyea! Jinyea was found alone on a street in South Korea at four months old and sent to a high-risk shelter where she sadly ended up on the euthanasia list. Luckily saved from that fate by a rescue team, she started living in a private shelter, patiently waiting for her forever family. > Personality: Friendly, lovely, Quick-adaptable She is such a sweet girl around all people. All she asks for from you is love! Also, she adapts to a new environment very quickly, which implies that she would have a smooth transition after adoption. > Relationships - With dogs: Gets along with some dogs she is interested in. She is indifferent to other dogs. - With adults: Good with adults including men. > Walking manners: In training > Shedding (on a scale of 1 to 10): 7 > Food allergies/Picky eater: No > Potty (indoor/outdoor): She would prefer potty outdoors when adopted. > Bathing/Brushing: She would be fine considering her mild nature. > Barking: No > Likes/Dislikes: LOVES people and attention! / Not a fan of being confined alone. > Current living situation: Well taken care of in a private boarding house in S. Korea > Health Issues: No issues. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Jinyea, please don't hesitate to submit an application now!

Story
My name is Midge and I am a Heeler mix puppy born May 16th to a Heeler momma who raised us with love.  The family who did not spay my momma has reached out to Critter Cavalry Rescue to help find homes for me and my 3 other siblings.  I am a smart little cutie pie but I honestly do not know who my dad was.  Momma was a Heeler and she is a very good natured dog.  I am very smart, will probably be a 45 pound adult dog and I love every living creature.   I just need a smart owner who is experienced and who will exercise me every day.  I have so much potential and definitely the pretty good looks.  If you are interested in adopting me please email Critter Cavalry Rescue for an adoption form:  ccrtennessee@gmail.com   I am ready to pack my puppy overnight bag and go home with YOU!!!!!!! PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 3, 2023, 2:09 pm

Story
Page is my name and fun is my game in life!!!  I was born to a Heeler momma who was not supposed to get pregnant.  But her family did not do the right thing and then our momma had us puppies.  Now the family who owns her is trying to find a way to get her pretty puppies adopted.  We were born on May 16th and we have all lived together as puppies for too long.  We are kind of tired of each other and getting grumpy in this humid heat of August.  The family has reached out to Critter Cavalry to ask that we find great homes for us and CCR has pledged to do that.  You see, Critter Cavalry Rescue knows what Heeler breed puppies need and it is this: a fenced yard, smart owners who are active, the ability to be the alpha over the puppy, good training skills, love, and a commitment to work through any challenges.  Critter Cavalry wants people who WILL NOT QUIT when the going gets tough.  They stand behind the dogs but don’t want people who are not able to handle the tougher times.  If you would like to bring home my smart little personality, then please email them at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 3, 2023, 2:09 pm
