Story
Friendly Finn is a lucky dog.  You know one of those who was in a really bad shelter that was run by lazy people who didn’t care if any of the dogs got out alive.  He is a handsome and very friendly Border Collie/Pointer mix that is truly a good looking dog who is about 3 years old, fully vetted, 35 pounds and was at the shelter for 2 years.  TRUTH!   How awful that this beautiful soul was there in that dirty place and in the tiny kennel run with another dog. He wasn’t fed much and he is lucky to have survived the torture of that specific shelter.   Friendly is a good word for Finn since he is good with other dogs and kids unknown.  He is surprisingly very good on a leash, but his nerves can get the best of him when riding in a car.  He might need a little medication till he gets used to riding.  Finn needs a big yard or maybe daily trips to a dog park.  We want him to live a life that is not limited as he has experienced these past 2+ years in the shelter.  If you are interested in Fostering or Adopting Finn please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 14, 2024, 9:01 pm

Story
My name is Lolly and I am a very young 1-year-old border collie girl that was adopted as a puppy and had great hopes of spending the rest of my life with my family in kentucky. They have now decided that with their move they are going to leave me behind and Critter Calvary said let us have Lolly. I was so lucky and I'm  excited that they are going to look for the perfect home for me and that understands the needs of my breed, which is active, smart and intensely fun. I weigh about 45 lbs and Critter Cavalry is going to spay me and get me updated on all my shots, heartworm test and microchip me. I guess it's really going to be for the better that I go with someone that takes good care of me. I have lots of energy and I would love to be with an active family, person, or couple that will run with me and teach me things and maybe even put me through some agility classes where we can have fun together. I am housebroken and I am excited to meet new dogs and new people. I think Critter Cavalry is going to test me with cats. If you are interested in becoming my new family and understand my special breed traits and what I need.....like a fenced in yard, please write to Critter Cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com right now!       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 14, 2024, 9:01 pm

Story
Mandy! Meet Mandy - this sweet and polite lady is Mandy. She is a medium (approx 45-50ish lbs) mix who we think may be some sort of border collie/lab type mix and is around 1 yr old. Mandy was originally found as a stray in the south by a good samaritan. Although they already had a full house of dogs they could not resist helping Mandy and were able to connect with a rescue to get her to us. Mandy is great with other dogs. She is medium energy and seems to love all people. Mandy is good in a crate and working on housebreaking. She loves car rides, although needs a little encouragement to get in at first. She is spayed, vaccinated and will be microchipped prior to adoption. She is up to date on preventatives and vetting. Interested in Mandy? Please go to www.dogtownrescue.org to complete an online adoption application.

He is very active, loves his belly rubs and all the attention he can get. Pare' will do best in a home with another dog to help him acclimate. If you are interested in Pare', please include your phone number and we will call with more information on Pare' and our adoption process. July 14, 2024, 2:08 am

Story
Blake and his litter are super special to our rescue. We have been trying to catch their parents for over a year! They are some super smart dogs! We kept one of the older ones as the rescue mascot, Radar. These pups we found early, and they are used to people and very friendly! They are also smart like their parents and all have learned manners and house-training almost entirely on their own! They are sweet and gentle and love snuggles and toys! They are great with other dogs, and curious about cats, but leave them alone. Super sweet with kids! Just all around great pups! Message us for more info! Note - Little Blake is sooo smart! He is mostly kennel and house trained RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Story
Misha is an approximately five year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who is looking for her forever home. She was abandoned by her original owner but someone stepped in and welcomed Misha into their home and horse farm, and quickly found she is accustomed to being on a farm around horses and other farm animals and where acclimated well to her new life. She is currently living with a foster family but is separated from the other dogs in the house as she needs to be the only dog. Misha is sweet, very energetic, and extremely intelligent. She can be hesitant when meeting new people, but after spending time and gaining trust she will melt your heart once you get to know her. Misha enjoys exercising and playing with her toys (especially her frisbees). She loves to play outside and would be best as an only dog with a large yard to run, or even a farm to put her to work and keep her busy! Our adult dog adoption fee is $350 which includes each animal is fixed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, heartworm &/or 4dx tested, kept on monthly preventions, and dewormed. If you are interested in adopting any of our animals please fill out an application on our website lastchanceranch.org. PA Kennel License #4518
