Now, before we go any further into my story.... let me warn you...it contains heartache and then some puppies, and fear and even some hopelessness. We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business. Korra is a sweet, affectionate 6-year-old blue merle Border Collie mix with striking blue eyes. Her current owner adopted her in 2023, but his age and health no longer let him give her the consistent care she requires. She loves frisbee, has competed in agility, flyball, scent work and Rodeo Dog, and is happiest with a job to do.Korra has chronic medical conditions requiring special care including exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) and chronic enteropathy. Both are well managed, but they mean she needs more care than most dogs: a prescription diet with supplements, a daily injection (she takes it well; we'll show you how), monitored water, potty breaks every 3-6 hours and a bath every 1-2 weeks. Care costs about $260 a month plus vet rechecks.She has had several homes, so we want her next one to be her last: someone home most of the day, active, comfortable with daily medication and committed for life.

Zion is a very obedient, intelligent, and affectionate cattle dog who thrives when he has a job to do. He loves going for walks and is an enthusiastic swimmer—water is one of his absolute favorite things. He’s great with other dogs and gets along well in multi-dog homes. With kids he’s just okay. He does best with an experienced handler who understands cattle dogs (or herding breeds in general) and can give him structure, mental stimulation, and purposeful activity. A farm, acreage, or active rural/suburban lifestyle where he can work and burn energy would be ideal. He’s not the right fit for a low-activity or first-time dog owner. One important note so you know what to expect: When you pet him he loves it—then sometimes nips at you in response. He has never bitten and the nipping is not aggressive; it seems more like he gets overstimulated and has an “off” switch that doesn’t fully work. It’s a quirk that an experienced cattle-dog person will understand and can manage.

We are looking for a responsible, experienced forever home for our 5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog. He has been part of our family (mom, dad, and two kids) and lives happily with our two other dogs—he truly loves his housemates and is affectionate with the people he knows. He is an active, playful dog who thrives on walks, playtime, and interaction. He is highly intelligent, knows all his basic commands, and is obedient. He is great with our kids and very affectionate once he trusts you. Important notes for potential adopters: He can be protective when strangers come to the house, which is typical of the breed. We strongly recommend an experienced owner who understands Australian Cattle Dogs and can provide consistent leadership. Ideally, a home without frequent kids coming in and out would be the best fit. He also has a couple of endearing (and funny) quirks: he sometimes tries to “herd” the kitchen cabinets and will jump at tree branches. These are classic herding-breed behaviors.
