Now, before we go any further into my story.... let me warn you...it contains heartache and then some puppies, and fear and even some hopelessness. We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business. I adopted Leia from someone in Harrisburg. She did come from two farm dogs. She's extremely playful, energetic, and cuddly. She definitely needs someone who can give her the attention that she so desires. Back when I had more time, I'd take her and my shepherd to hike in the woods and I do trust her off leash out there. She does chase deer and squirrels, but always comes back and has never caught up to them. Aside from the time constraints, the other reason I'm hoping to re home her is because she gets car sick. So, I'm hoping that she can go somewhere with a large property. I think she'd do fantastic somewhere either with a large fenced in yard or just no close by neighbors. As far as cats go, she seems terrified. I figured that was a farm cat thing from when she was a pup, because I have no cats, myself. Ask any questions you like! I want Leia to get the best life possible.
