Story
Nala is a 6 year old border collie mix. She is around 80 pounds. She is high energy and loving once she gets to know someone. She does suffer with anxiety around strangers, so it may require a couple meetings before she is fully comfortable. Once she gets to know someone, she is their best friend for life. Nala knows commands like sit, down, spin, paw, speak, and leave it. She loves tennis balls, playing fetch, and getting treats. Nala also loves a good nap, and has no problem with being left alone. She is spayed and housebroken. My best hope for her is she finds a loving and understanding home where she can have the life she deserves. I am looking to transition her to a new home by May 28th 2025. We could arrange a couple meetings prior to then to get her acclimated and happy.

Story
Pepper is approx 5.5 years old. She has high drive and high ambition to be your best pal. Deserves a home that is experienced with the breed and willing to enrich her life with exercise and mental stimulation. She loves giving kisses and hugs to strangers and wants to be the object of your affection. She would definitely benefit from some constructive training in obedience or even beginner agility. Need to surrender because my family is growing this summer 2025. I did not know how high energy she would be when I assumed responsibility for her. Border Collies really do live up to their reputation which is why her adopter must be experienced. We don’t play with toys much because she doesn’t play very nice when it comes to a toy being taken away, so a household of active adults to exercise her would probably be best.

Story
Otto is a loving, sweet, eager to please, high energy 1.25 year old border collie. He lives with two other dogs (a border collie and an Australian shepherd) and his high energy can be off-putting to them. He also wants to be the #1 son, and doesn’t like when they get attention (he is not aggressive, he just gets in the way). We have seen how he can be almost the perfect dog when it is just him, so he’d probably be best as an only dog (or have extremely chill dog siblings). He would also greatly benefit from having a human who runs or hikes regularly and can give him the exercise he needs. He has great name recall and is so eager to please and be with you that when you call he is there instantly. Will snuggle and be velcro to his people — so so so much love. We have a cat too, who he wishes would love him (but doesn’t). He has not been around kids but would probably be great. He has never been aggressive and is crate trained and so smart. He deserves the best!!

Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Milo – The Marathon Crasher Turned Cuddle Champion! Milo didn’t exactly sign up for a 5K, but that didn’t stop him from joining one! This adventurous pup trotted right into a local marathon and straight into the hearts of his future foster family—how’s that for making an entrance? Since trading in finish lines for fluffy beds, Milo has discovered the magic of toys (they’re amazing!) and developed a special bond with his favorite big teddy bear. He’ll wrestle with any toy, but that bear? Pure love. When playtime’s over, Milo’s favorite way to wind down is being cradled like a baby—belly up, paws in the air, snoring softly. Total goofball vibes. He’s fantastic with other dogs, crate trained, and working on perfecting his leash and potty manners. Smart, sweet, and full of personality, Milo is now looking for his forever home—a place with plenty of cuddles, toys, and maybe a finish line or two to cross with his new family. Ready to fall head over heels for this lovable lug? Milo’s waiting! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
