Story

First, let me say I love this dog. Luna has been my girl for nearly a decade. She is a sweet, somewhat reserved border collie mix. She is a tripod (missing a back leg) but gets around great and can handle stairs. Unfortunately as my daughter has entered toddlerhood, we have learned that Luna is not comfortable around smaller children. She could handle a home with older children who can respect her boundaries well, but struggles with kids stumbling into her or other innocent toddler behavior. Luna does well with cats (loves them) and other dogs. She is nearing 12, so she has entered her cozy girl era and is content to nap most of the day with a few outdoor breaks. Because of this, she would be as happy in an apartment as she would a house with a big backyard. She is fully house broken and can stay home for a full work day with no problems.

Story

I adopted Athena about a year and a half ago. This sweet girl is about 2 and a half years old. Athena is incredibly house trained, she does perfect when left alone (non-destructive) and has never had an accident inside the house. She is extremely loving and will stare into your eyes when you pet her. She is so gentle with bones and her food, and you can see how happy she is when she's loved.
