Oreo is a 7 month old girl still learning her way in this world. She's eager to please but her first and only home was one of starvation and sickness by the Texas/Mexico border. Oreo loves her flirt pole chasing, fetch and tug of war. At 7 months old she's just 17 lbs so she should remain small her entire life. Oreo is fully vetted and her adoption fee is waived to an approved home. She is crate trained, dog door trained, good with other dogs and kids. We do not free feed dogs. Rosie was born December of 2020.When I lost my oldest dog my lab the dynamic changed between the 2 remaining dogs which are both female. She is very sweet but if my kids try to take something away that she’s eating or playing with and isn’t supposed to she will nip at them (not bite). She and my other female are fighting for dominance and have gotten into 3 fights that are freaking my kids out. Rosie needs a home with more love and attention and maybe not another dominating female. I have a one year old lab and the two of Them are outside Most of the days and play hard but get along fine. She does love kids but maybe not little ones. She does bark at people going by or squirrels or Other dogs. She weighs b/w 25-29 pounds and is fixed. Her dad was border collie and mom was a mix She loves attention and wants to lay in recliner with you or just be with you. She loves affection and has the sweetest eyes. We will miss her but this is the only thing I know to do. Can come with a kennel.

Indiana is the sweetest and most affectionate little guy, and he is such a well-behaved houseguest! The way he belly crawls into our laps and gives full-body hugs just melts our hearts. He suffered terribly in the shelter because he loves people so much... his happy place is definitely in a lap. Indy is smart, athletic, and has already mastered basic commands like "come and "sit. He is also potty trained, sleeps quietly all night in his kennel, plays nicely with other dogs, and he loves children! Indiana has such a kind and gentle nature, he really is a perfect family dog. He walks nicely on leash and greets adult and kids alike very respectfully until he feels they're ready for full body hugs. He is a smart boy and a quick learner, so will be a dream to train. Come meet him and experience his snuggly hugs for yourself!

Hercules came to us from a rescue partner in San Antonio and whilst there he was taught to sit in front of every door and wait until it opens before walking through, and whilst he is sometimes a bit too excited to do this every time, if you slow down and look at him, he sits down very neatly and looks up at your face for the next instruction. Herc lives for his play yard time. He has had several buddies, all playful female dogs so far who can match his enthusiasm for rough housing and splashing in the pool. He can be a bit unsure when meeting new people and needs a few treats and some kind words before he will approach to have a leash put on, but at heart he's just a puppy who yearns for love and affection, so it doesn't take long before he melts in your arms.

Winnie is a 4.5 yr old cattle dog mix who has had excellent training with Christina Donahoe at K9 Inclined Dog Training!! Christina has wonderful things to say about Winnie and provides training sessions in person or virtually to the family that adopts Winnie so they are set for success. Winnie is house and crate trained. She has good manners in the house. Will only bark a bit at noises and people coming to the door, but settles down quickly. Sleeps at night on her dog bed or in her crate (door left open) Prefers to be an only dog Can be cat friendly, but needs to have an owner that sets clear boundaries for her Around the cat. Moderate activity level. Loves to go on her walks, and will entertain herself by tossing her toys around. Walks well on leash. Rides ok in the car but it's not her favorite. commands known: sit, down, off, quiet, "let's go" (her version of heel), come, no Treat motivated (all treats) You can sometimes trigger zoomies if you blow gently in her face! It's so fun to watch. Her true live is people. Older kids would be fine. She does prefer to be around her humans but will go into another room to nap and occasionally will even go into her crate on her own. Winnie is an incredibly smart dog, who loves to be around her people. She loves to cuddle, but is also fine just napping. Around other dogs, Winnie needs to be on-leash and have her human give her clear guidance. She's made tremendous progress, but like with people, can have a rough day where she takes a step back. Winnie would thrive in a house with a yard and with a person (or preferably a few people) that are willing to take the time to continue building on her training. She's fully vetted, up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative and know prevention.
