Add some pep to your step with Shep! Shep is a playful and bouncy boy who has many dog friends here at APA! He has learned good recall, is excellent on leash, extremely smart, AND very good on car rides! Shep is SUPER playful and a HUGE fan of tug-o-war, strawberries, and two-ball fetch! He's also quite treat motivated and loves to learn new tricks for snacks. He knows the command: sit and place. Shep would love a family that will shower him in love and strawberries. Story
🐾 Ready to Play? I'm Your Next Best Friend! 🐾 Hey there! I'm a 7-month-old girly pop named Lychee, and if you're looking for a dog who's basically a pocket-sized ball of concentrated energy and goofball antics, you've found her! My Resume Highlights: Professional Fetcher: I take my job as a fetch enthusiast very seriously. I'll chase that ball until my little legs give out, and then I'll look at you with pleading eyes, ready for round two. Certified Goat Impersonator: Sometimes, when I get super excited, I forget I'm a dog and start hopping, prancing, and springing around like a tiny, very enthusiastic mountain goat. It's truly a sight to behold, and it's 100% guaranteed to make you giggle. Stuffed Animal Enthusiast: When I'm not on goat patrol, I'm busy defending my favorite plush toys from... well, from everything. Cuddle sessions with my fuzzy friends are non-negotiable, and I’d love to share the quiet time with you, too! I'm a Smart Cookie (Who Works for Treats!): I may be spunky, but I’m not just a pretty face! I’m a super fast learner because, let's be honest, I am highly food motivated! Want me to sit, stay, or cure world hunger? Just flash me a biscuit, and consider it done. I'm incredibly eager to please my humans, and I pick up new tricks faster than you can say "treat jar." Friends & Family Plan: I’m a social butterfly who thinks everyone is a potential playmate! Dog-Friendly: I love making new canine friends and playing the day away. Kid-Approved: Small humans are awesome! Their energy matches mine, and they're great for sharing belly rubs. Possible Cat BFF: I’m told I could be besties with the right feline, as long as they don't mind a little curiosity (and maybe a quick, playful boop). So, if you’re ready for a lifetime of laughter, goat-hops, and a little bit of silly puppy love, come meet me! I promise I'm the sweetest, funniest, most treat-motivated dog you'll ever meet. Ready to get this party started? 🥳

Story
Tyson is a six-year-old sweetheart who wins everyone over with his calm nature and kind heart. At some point in his life, his ear was split, leaving him with one adorably folded ear tip that adds to his charm. It doesn’t bother him one bit—if anything, it makes him even more endearing! This mellow boy gets along well with other dogs but prefers older or smaller companions who understand boundaries and personal space. If a playful pup gets a little too close, Tyson politely lets them know he needs room, then goes right back to being his relaxed, easygoing self. Around the house, Tyson is a dream. He’s completely potty trained and can hold it for 8+ hours without issue. He loves lounging in his bed, bird-watching through the window (or on TV!), and enjoying the simple comforts of home. He rarely makes a sound—no barking at windows here—though he might let out a sleepy bark during a dream or an excited woof when playtime hits! Tyson is wonderful with cats, typically ignoring them except for the occasional curious sniff. He adores butt scratches, brushing, cuddles, and will happily curl up in your lap. When a toy catches his eye, he lights up with pure joy—his playful bursts are as heartwarming as they are entertaining. According to his foster, Tyson is “the best foster I’ve ever had.” He’s chill, affectionate, gentle, and ready to bring warmth and happiness to a loving home. If you’re looking for an easygoing, loyal companion who will fit right into family life, Tyson is your guy.

Story
Snoopy is a 10-year-old Dalmatian cattle mix, who is an absolute sweetheart. He's great with other dogs and I take him to the park regularly. Very well house trained and will ignore any objects that you tell him are off limits. He only provides a little resistance during bathing. Despite being an older dog, I have found him to be highly trainable and touch motivated. When other dogs bark at him, you will find him running to you for comfort. When he does rarely, bark it's usually at very distant sounds.
