Meet Remi, a young, smart, and energetic shelter guest. She`s playful and cuddly, perfect for cozy evenings at home. Despite her shyness, Remi`s curiosity makes her an excellent companion for adventures. She`s leash trained and calm, making her a joy on walks. If she runs off while off leash, she`ll come back if you call her. She knows the sit, stay, shake and lay down commands. She weighs 34 pounds and enjoys car rides, running, toys, walks, and water. She is fond of belly rubs, ice water, and treats! She can be a bit jumpy and tends to chew, so she`ll need a patient owner who can guide her. She`ll need help with house training too. She`s affectionate yet sometimes distrustful, especially around men or strangers, requiring a gentle approach to build trust. Remi`s playful spirit makes her a favorite among her canine friends however in a recent foster home she was a little cautious around the resident dog. Her easygoing nature means she gets along wonderfully with cats but she likes to chase rabbits. She was friendly and playful with her foster`s teenager. Remi is gentle, mellow, and quiet and would thrive in a loving home that understands her needs and promises to cherish her. (tw 1/1/2026)

She knows: - Sit - Down - Shake - Wait (to eat and to get out of the crate) - Crate up Her flaws (only a few): - Would be best as an only dog - Is a bit on the active side - Gets nervous with kids under 10 Mikka is very dog selective. Her unknown past has taught her she needs to do the getting before they get her. Because she is so well mannered she's not reactive as long as the dogs don't come up to her. This means you can still enjoy calm walks without her barking or lunging. She'd thrive the most as an only child. As long as she gets regular walks she can thrive in any environment. Kids quick unexpected movements makes me nervous so I cling to the humans I know and try to get away from the tiny humans.
