Story
JIMMY: Schnauzer Border Terrier Mix • Neutered Male • 3.5 Years Old • 16 lbs Jimmy is a sweet, gentle soul with a heart full of love. This friendly and sociable boy enjoys being around people of all ages, including children, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He has a calm, docile nature, making him an easy and comforting companion to have by your side. He loves simple joys—playing with his toys, going for walks at the park, and relaxing in a cozy space. Jimmy is well-mannered in the home: he sleeps peacefully in his crate, doesn’t bark excessively, and isn’t destructive. His affectionate personality shines through in the way he bonds closely with his humans—he truly loves to give and receive tenderness. Jimmy’s past wasn’t kind. He was rescued along with three other dogs from a breeding situation where they were kept in poor, inhumane conditions. Thanks to a dedicated rescuer, he now has a second chance at life. Despite everything he endured, Jimmy remains incredibly loving and trusting—a true testament to his resilient spirit. Now, he’s ready to find a forever home where he will be cherished as a family member. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle, and affectionate companion, Jimmy could be the perfect match for you. If you can offer JIMMY the loving home she deserves, please contact Reyna: miracledogrescue@gmail.com 323-383-8883

Tobby would thrive in a home that can provide: Daily walks and activity Continued socialization and engagement Structure and consistency Inclusion as part of the family He would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, affectionate, and social young dog who enjoys both adventures and cuddles. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from very different backgrounds. Some may have previously lived in homes, while others may have come from the streets, overcrowded shelters, neglect situations, or environments where they had little structure or guidance. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Young dogs especially still require continued training, structure, and supervision as they grow and mature. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should be prepared to continue training and support after adoption. Tobby will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Structure and routine Continued leash training and socialization Patience and consistency during adjustment Mental stimulation and engagement Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, stability, and commitment, rescue dogs often blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, training, mental stimulation, and financial responsibility. Tobby will need: Daily walks and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine wellness exams and preventative veterinary care A safe, stable, indoor living environment As a young dog, Tobby will continue learning and developing emotionally and socially over time. Consistency, patience, and structure are important for helping him grow into a confident adult dog. Tobby is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Story
The most precious puppy....Meet Timo! Little Timo is an approx 4 month old/ 9lb, male, Border Terrier/Chihuahua puppy that came into our rescue with 3 of his siblings when they were found abandoned in a box in the middle of a remote orchard. Thankfully, a kind woman got them to safety and reached out to us to see if we could take them into our foundation, and we said yes! We are looking for a home for our puppies that has another young and playful dog or they could be adopted with one of their siblings. Owners that are not gone long hours during the day would be ideal along with a safe and secure backyard. Timo is a sweet puppy with lots of fun energy that deserves the best forever home out there! Timo is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be neutered at the appropriate age. Please contact us at gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020 We only adopt in So Calif as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required.

Story
DINA: Cairn Terrier Mix | Spayed Female | 1 Year Old | 16 lbs Dina is a calm, gentle, and well-mannered little girl with a sweet and sensitive nature. She is obedient, quiet, and not prone to barking or destructive behavior. Dina gets along well with other dogs and enjoys simple pleasures like car rides and peaceful walks in the park. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and loved, her affectionate side truly shines. With a little patience and kindness, Dina forms strong bonds and becomes a loyal, loving companion. Dina was rescued alongside several other female dogs from a group living on the streets, where many were at risk due to being in heat. At first, adjusting to home life was challenging, as she was used to surviving outdoors. But over time, she has learned to feel safe, and now she is thriving and ready for a forever home.
