I am a quiet, but sweet guy with a manageable energy level and a love for stuffy toys. I like to play easygoin’ games of fetch with you and cuddlin’ up after a long day. Located in San Antonio Texas Meet Gerti the Border Terrier! She is our newest addition. She was found running the streets with her Dogo Argentino pal. The family that found them spent weeks trying to find their owners with no success. Gerti was not spayed and did not have a microchip. The good new is, she is now spayed, microchipped, and has had all her vaccines! The bad news is, she is heartworm positive. All though we are all very bummed about this she has a fabulous veterinarian that is taking care of her! She has started Gerti on her heartworm treatment protocol and says there is no reason why she can’t find a new home while she is undergoing treatment! Now we just need to find her that perfect place to call home! If you are interested in Gerti let us know.

His droopy eyelids, big ears, short legs, and “parrot mouth” sure make him a character, though! Cisco traveled to SNIPSA with three other dogs after being found as a stray. Despite his humble beginnings, he is ready and willing to become your perfect house pet. Cisco is super affectionate, well-behaved, and has a sense of humor! Yes – this boy has a series of noises in his voice box that he uses to communicate how he is feeling. Cisco can be a little sassy, too, but he is NEVER mean! He simply has lots to grumble about.
