Have you heard the Buzz?!? The cutest little Boston Terrier just became available for a forever family! I am a 5- 6 month old Boston Terrier mix who recently came up with my sister. I’ve been pretty lucky to land with foster family who has brought out my confidence and taught me how to dog! I am a social guy who loves the other 5 dogs male/female big/small. I enjoy chasing and wrestling with them as well as a nice sunbath in the yard or even biting the water from the hose. I enjoy a game of tug a war or a nice snuggle with my besties too. My foster thinks I might like to have another same speed dog in my forever home or maybe even 2. Not only am I amazing with other dogs, I also LOVE people! I’ve really enjoyed all the new people my foster family has introduced me too including kids that understand I’m not a baby but a future bestie. I am confident so I don’t need to be carried but like to strut my stuff around my yard and neighborhood. I am really enjoying having a fenced yard to sunbath, chase or even do a little digging. I also love long walks and have very good manners for my age keeping up with my foster pack. Did my foster mention I not only have good looks and personality but I am also very smart! My foster has trained her therapy dog and special needs dogs and has worked a lot with me. I know “sit, down, touch and 1,2,3” and also have amazing name recall and respond right away to “Buzz”. I also know “house” for my crate and potty outside. I started my training with positive reinforcement, I love a good duck jerky, but have moved on to just Voice command as well since we practice everyday. My forever family should know that I dream of sneaking in bed with you to cuddle and plan to give you lots of puppy kisses, I don’t like to take no for an answer. I also am well behaved while my foster works but would love a family who can give me quite a bit of attention or socialization. I love riding in the car and going on adventures. And I’m spoiled and only eat the best food! (No chicken please) If you are looking for your new best friend, Buzz is worth all the hype! **CHEDDAR IS ADOPTED!**Pal's Place has three of the sweetest, most adorable, and lovable little nuggets in town, all looking for loving forever families. These precious little guys were rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky and are now in a loving foster home in Chicago, waiting to meet their forever families. Their mother is a purebred Boston Terrier; their father is unknown, but the family that surrendered the puppies mentioned a neighbor's Cattledog mix was the suspected father. The puppies were born the second week in January, and at 3 months old (4/5), they weigh between 8 and 10 pounds. Given their current age and size, we expect a mature size of roughly 35 pounds- a fantastic medium size! All three puppies are curious, energetic, social, and happy, making great companions for active families who have the time and patience to raise, train, socialize, and exercise them. Puppies are undoubtedly adorable and fun, but require a great deal of time and attention during their first several months. Please remember that puppies this age need frequent potty breaks (every 3-4 hours or so) and lots of playtime, engagement, and mental stimulation throughout the day, so please consider if you truly have the time for a puppy before applying. The adoption fee to the rescue is $475 per puppy. They are neutered, up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and are started on flea and heartworm preventatives. • The cheese litter is fostered in Chicago, and meetings can be scheduled by appointment only after an adoption application has been completed and approved. The adoption fee per puppy to the rescue is $475. This fee helps to cover their neuterings, initial vaccines, microchips, and other care needs. Unfortunately, we cannot place holds on our dogs for any reason. Please do not submit an adoption application unless you are ready to meet and welcome a dog into your home within three days of applying. We respond to inquiries, questions, and applications by email. We are a volunteer-run organization and strive to respond to all inquiries within 24-48 hours, though we may occasionally take longer. ALL SKYE WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS IS A FAMILY 💔🐾🎄 Skye has been waiting sonce October 2023 for a second chance…. Shes been waiting patiently this whole time for a forever home. This special girl needs to get out of the kennels. She’s been here WAY too long. Skye was abandoned by her owners in our parking lot as a very emaciated scared girl. Thats ok though we made sure to shower her with love and got her feeling MUCH better!!! Skye is a very good girl and tested well with other dogs! Unfortunately she does resource guard so if adopted out through us she would need to be the only pet in the house. If pulled by a rescue and placed with a foster who had experience with resource guarding, she could potentially live with another dog!
