Story
Pal's Place has three of the sweetest, cutest, and lovable little nuggets in town, all looking for loving forever families. These precious lovebugs were rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky and are now in a loving foster home in Chicago, waiting to meet their forever families. Their mother is a purebred Boston Terrier; their father is unknown, but the family that surrendered the puppies mentioned a neighbor's Beagle/Hound mix or their Cattledog mix was the suspected father. The puppies are approaching 6 months of age and weigh in at 30 pounds. Given their current age and size, we expect a mature weight of roughly 40 pounds of love and sweetness neatly packaged within an adorable, short, solid, stocky build. Swiss, Cheddar (Adopted!), and Colby are curious, energetic, social, and happy, making great companions for active families who have the time, patience, and energy to keep up with these young whippersnappers. Swiss and Colby are making good progress with crate training and housebreaking, but are still young pups learning the ropes. Potential adopters should be prepared to continue their training and provide the guidance and structure all young dogs need to develop into the best canine citizens they can be as adults. Puppies are undoubtedly adorable and fun, but require a great deal of time and attention during their first several months. Please remember that dogs this age need frequent potty breaks (every 4-5 hours or so) and lots of playtime, engagement, and mental stimulation throughout the day, so please consider if you truly have the time for a puppy before applying. *Colby and Swiss are fostered in Chicago, and meet-and-greets are by appointment only after an adoption application has been received and approved. The adoption fee per dog is $475. Pal's Place is 100% reliant on donations and adoption fees to care for our rescued dogs. This fee helps cover their medical and general care expenses while they await adoption. They are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and started on monthly flea and heartworm preventatives. *For more information or to apply, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com or visit our website at palsplacerescue.org. Story
Hellooooo, I'm Diesel. Im an English Bulldog and Boston Terrier mix, or so they tell me. Im on the smaller side (around 35lbs), and they think Im 4-5 years old, but who knows, because I have lots of puppy energy. Do you like to play, run, serve up delicious... FOOD? Then Im your doggie. I LOVEEE all of those things! I am the most active bulldog you will EVER meet (did you know they make bulldogs in that energy level? Because I sure didnt). I am a very nice boy but I will need training. I know sit and come though! I need help on not counter surfing, jumping, and other basic commands, I am VERY smart though and I pick up things fast. I hope youll teach me so I can be even smarter. I am a very handsome boy with a black and white coat, my ears are black, my head is white and the rest of me is black. My foster family says Im the best looking doggie on the block! I guess you can see that from the pictures though. I LOVE FOOD, however I can be quite possessive and rude to other doggos about it. I chew a lot too, so I need someone to help me get better about this. Or who is home a decent amount of the time to keep me from chewing or eating things I'm not supposed to. I am the sweetest guy you will ever meet and I am kind to everyone, and animals (at least the ones I have been tested with). There is another dog at my foster home, and I have no problems with her. I would love a large yard with a lot of space to run around and chew on my toys (balls are my favorite). I LOVE WATER!!!! I love eating the water out of the hose and jumping through it, I could spend all day doing that. My motto is hose play, eat, repeat! I would definitely like a hose to play with (my foster family doesn't know if I can swim yet but they think I would like somewhere to swim). Well I hope you consider having me for your personal shadow and forever buddy!!! with love and slobbery kisses, Diesel Please visit our website www.ebullymatch.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Story
Meet Ian – Your Slightly Wonky, Totally Wonderful Adventure Buddy Ian is a young Boston Terrier mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for life. He came into rescue with a shattered hip that has healed, leaving him with an adorable "wonky" gait. His back leg sometimes swings out when he runs, but it has never slowed him down. He lives for zoomies, toys, muddy adventures, and making everyone laugh. This happy little guy is always carrying a toy. He loves to play chase and keep-away with other dogs, then settle in beside you on the couch with his favorite toy after he's burned off his energy. Ian would do best with a respectful dog companion around his size or smaller who will let him enjoy his downtime, or he'd be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only. Ian also has the funniest raspy, baby-pterodactyl bark that he uses to let you know he's ready to come out of his crate or needs a potty break. He'll often sit quietly by the door too, so he's great about letting you know when it's time to go outside. Since he's an enthusiastic eater, he uses a slow feeder bowl at mealtime. Medical Transparency: Ian has diabetes insipidus due to his previous injury. The good news is it's easy to manage: No injections required Oral medication twice a day Just needs a few extra potty breaks His condition is well controlled, and he enjoys a completely happy, active, zoomie-filled life. If you're looking for a playful, goofy best friend who will keep you smiling every day and then snuggle beside you at night, Ian is ready to steal your heart. Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
“ Pebbles was the absolute best weekend foster! Upon her arrival, she got a warm bath (even let us trim her nails), confidently explored her surroundings, and figured out the stairs within minutes. Throughout the weekend, she wanted nothing more than to play with our older dog, who was not as excited to share his space (I suspect that she would do beautifully with another energetic dog). She wants to be close to her people, and when she is done playing, she will snore on the couch as her battery recharges. She loves her meals and takes medications easily (toys and bones are her love language). House training is a work in progress, but she is very treat motivated. She was quiet (never barked!), and her crate was immaculate. She would likely enjoy walks outside, but we did not make it far due to weather conditions. This girl is a gem, and who can resist those ears?”
