SPECIAL NEEDS This special girl is Ellie, a senior Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix, who weighs around 9-10 pounds. Ellis is around 10-11 years old; she is very loving and is an absolute sweetheart. Ellie lives in a foster home with a couple smaller dogs and two large dogs. Her foster mom considers Ellie to be a “low maintenance” dog. She is a homebody because she does not like going for walks or going on adventures. She enjoys the opportunity to be in the yard so she can walk around and sniff out the critters. Ellie really loves her foster mom and the young teen kids in the home so she will seek out time for some belly rubs and pets. Because Ellie is frightened of most adult men we are seeking to place her into a female household. Ellie is comfortable living with other small to medium sized dogs but isn’t into playing with them; she prefers napping and hanging out. While in foster care, Ellie was diagnosed with Glaucoma and lost sight in one of her eyes; she receives daily eye drops for the condition. The medication has worked well and the eye pressure has been in the normal range for over three months now. In addition, she eats a prescription food for her kidneys. Ellie has been examined by licensed veterinarians, been provided vaccines, been dewormed, tested for diseases, spayed, and microchipped. I am a cute, very friendly dog . l was found by a vet tech in Alabama, eating out of the trash at a local car dealership by the clinic. I was vetted down south, and tested positive for heartworm. I have recently been treated. But I am currently on restricted activity (no long walks or rough play) while I recover from heartworm for the next couple of months. I get along with the dogs in her foster home. I am people and children friendly. I enjoy entertaining myself with my toys and like to rest on a couch or dog bed when I get tired. I enjoy a yard to explore and going on short walks. Hi! My name is Riley! My brother (Winston) and I were found running the streets of Universal City. We are approximately a year old. I am the little brother. We were both really scared. We have been with our foster mommy for a couple days now. I am gradually coming out of my shell. I will come over to foster momma and want to be picked up and petted, sometimes I make it a game and will play shy, but then give in and let her pick me up to relax in her lap. Sometimes I even jump up in her lap and demand attention! If I do not get it, I will swat at her with my paw until she pays attention to me! I love toys and playing with my brother. I also have foster brothers and sisters that are my size and bigger than me. I am working on potty training. I am a very fast learner. I should master that very quickly! I like to explore the backyard. I am still a puppy with lots of puppy energy. I am kennel trained. Foster momma says I have the cutest underbite. I love to run and play, when I am done, I like to either lay down on the couch next to momma or even go and lay in my bed wherever that may be. Momma placed my bed while she was cleaning my kennel and that did not stop me from getting into my bed. I climbed on top of the kennel and decided to take a power nap! Meet Hank, a 4-year-old, 22lb, tripod Pug mix ready to find his forever home! He’s a sweet guy who loves to be with people and play with toys. He loves to jump up and get pets. He’s always trying to find a good toy to carry around, too. Hank is looking for a home without other dogs.Unfortunately, Hank arrived with an old injury to one of his front legs. Our vets determined it was in his best interest to have it amputated. He has healed up from surgery and is getting around on 3 legs well! He is still gaining stamina, so will need help to not over-do it on walks/playing at first. This handsome guy is ready to find a family to cherish and spoil him!
