Story
Hi, I’m Petey. I’m a 10‑year‑old Boston boy weighing 35 pounds, with a big heart and an even bigger love for being close to my person. I’m what they call a certified love bug—I follow my foster around the house because being near my human makes me feel safe and happy. Snuggles are my specialty. I’m a quiet guy and never bark. I don’t play much with the other dogs, but I’m starting to get curious about toys… I’m still figuring out what all the fuss is about. I’m a perfect gentleman, still learning the ropes, and I try my very best every day. I’m trained on the potty pad, and I’m great on a leash. I enjoy going on walks and I’m amazing on them—steady, calm, and happy to trot right beside you. I’m good with kids, cats, and dogs, and I’d be a wonderful companion for a senior or anyone who wants a gentle, low‑energy buddy. I love peanut butter and bacon‑flavored treats, cozy naps, and being close enough to feel your warmth. What I’d really love is a home where life is a mix of chill and a little bit of adventure… and where someone wants snuggles all day long. If you’re looking for a sweet, quiet, loyal friend who will adore you with his whole heart, I’m your guy. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+) my adoption fee is waived.   We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Story
Hello there. My name is Murphy, and I am a 15-year-old lil boy who weighs 22 pounds. I am so lucky this wonderful rescue came and saved me; I did not grow up in a very nice environment. I am a particular little guy; I like to do things on my own terms. I do not like to be forced to do things which makes me upset and nip. I also do not like to share toys or food. I want to be the leader, so I need to be the only dog in the house. I am still learning how to be a dog and still working on my house training and my manners. I do have some hearing loss and need kidney care food because of my age. I absolutely love to be outside and play with stuffies. My ideal home would a person who can teach me manners and who is willing to help me be a better guy. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+), my adoption fee is waived. Must be an only dog. No children. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! NOTE:  Hospice fosters have ongoing medical needs that will require care for the rest of their lives. While they remain available for adoption, we carefully screen potential homes to ensure their medical and special needs can be fully supported. BTRNT is committed to providing these dogs with a loving forever home—whether that is through adoption or as a permanent hospice foster within our rescue. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Story
Hi, I’m Leila — your soft, squishy, gentle Boston girl. I’m 4½ years old, about 25 pounds, and I’ve been told I’m the definition of a pushover. Honestly… it’s true. I’m gentle to my core. I let the other dogs go first, I don’t make a fuss, and I just want everyone to feel safe and happy around me. I have a little independent streak — I like to explore and do my own thing — but I also love being close to my humans. I’m the kind of girl who quietly settles near you, just happy to be part of the moment. I’m still learning the ropes, so I’ll need a patient family who can help me with training. I'm still working on my housetraining but my foster mom says I'm making great progress. I behave a bit like a puppy sometimes, in the sweetest way. I get along well with other dogs.  Car rides… well… I don’t love them. I’m working on it, but I’d rather keep my paws on solid ground. What I dream of most is a gentle, loving family who sees my soft heart and wants to help me blossom. If you’re looking for a tender, easygoing girl who just wants to be loved on, I might be your perfect match. My adoption fee is $400.  Best with older considerate children. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Story
Hi, I’m Darcy — a 7‑year‑old, 21‑pound Boston Terrier with a soft heart, a big cuddle habit, and a story that’s still unfolding. I didn’t have the easiest start in life, but I’m learning every day what it feels like to be safe, loved, and understood. I’m a super sweet girl who absolutely adores water — the pool is my happy place. I’m also a world‑class snuggler who will melt right into you the moment I feel comfortable. I’m trained with the doggy door, I’m crate trained, and I’m great with kids — especially older, considerate ones who understand that I’m still building my confidence. When it comes to other dogs, I’m a bit selective. I do best with calm, submissive pups who won’t overwhelm me. I’m not good with cats, though — they’re just a little too tempting for me. I’m still working on my training, but I’m trying so hard. I just need a family with patience, kindness, and a willingness to help me keep learning. If you give me time, I’ll give you my whole heart. If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly companion who’s ready for a fresh start and a lifetime of love, I think we could be perfect together. My adoption fee is $300  AVAILABLE EARLY MAY. Story
Hi, I’m Gatsby, a friendly and loving 12-year-old gentleman, around 45 lbs. I’m great with dogs and love to be around people. I’m always up for belly rubs, and if you stop petting me, I’ll paw at your hand to let you know I want more! Even at my age, I still get around great—jumping up on the couch without any issues, and I’m very active and spry for 10. I’m house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. I enjoy spending time with my people and following the pack when they go outside. I do have some allergies, but they’re under control now. While I don’t love car rides, I do enjoy short walks, though I’m more of a relaxed guy most of the time. My ideal home would be one where I’m not left alone too much. A yard and a doggie door would be great, but more than anything, I want to be close to you! I’m the perfect couch potato companion. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+) my adoption fee is waived.    We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Hi! My name is TJ and oh boy do I love to play ball! I am a very loving and happy 36 pound 6-year-old boy. I am housetrained and crate trained. I have lots of energy and would love a home with an active family. Because of my energy, my foster mom says older kids might be best for me. I am also very protective of my food so I need a family or owner who understands that and how to work with that. I am selective of my doggie friends so, I would do best with a home without dogs. My ideal family would be one who loves to play with me and are looking for a handsome, gentle boy. The most important thing in my life is finding my forever home and family. MUST BE ONLY DOG. My adoption fee is $350.   We are always looking for good foster homes.
