Story
Right By Your Side Brandi is a 4-year-old, very sweet and sociable Boston Terrier weighing just 15 pounds. She came to rescue after being used for breeding, and heartbreakingly, her puppies didn’t survive. Now it’s her turn to be cared for, cherished, and loved on. She may need a little time to adjust in a new home, but once she settles into a routine, she blossoms. She’s house-trained, kennel-trained, food-motivated, and easy to teach. She LOVES her toys, enjoys being active, and is wonderfully curious about the world. Brandi gets along beautifully with dogs and cats and is gentle with children. In public, she’s friendly but tends to stick close to her person...the perfect little sidekick. She recently had nose-widening surgery to help her breathe more comfortably and is doing great. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion with a playful spirit and a tender heart, Brandi may be your girl. Queen B is a sweetheart and 100% lap dog. I can already tell she is going to love and want to be around her person all the time. Queen B LOVESSSS to eat...and her second favorite thing to do is sleep. She is a morning "person" and gets a burst of energy. She is: House trained She says toys are for puppies (not mature women) No walking required to potty (#1) and could care less about any form of physical activity starts shaking her head like a crazy lady when leashed for a walk--so I just take it off and let her do nothing bc that's when she's happiest would rather roll over for belly rubs instead it doing her business right away sleeps all night (outside the crate) Snores but not as bad as I was thinking. I slept through it...the "gobble gobble" night noises are interesting Brandi is great with everyone and is totally indifferent to cats. She was a breeding dog and surrendered to the rescue; deserving of her Queen title.

Story
Hi there, I’m Buster, a 7&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old, 24&#226&#128&#145pound Boston Terrier with a big personality, a gentle heart, and a serious love for fetch. If you throw it, I’m getting it. I always like to be the one who wins the race, or I’ll proudly carry my own ball around like a trophy. I’m a playful, energetic guy outside, especially if there’s a water hose involved. Splashing, chasing, zooming… it’s all my idea of a perfect day. But once we’re back inside, I settle right down. I’m relaxed, easygoing, and happy to chew on a bone or toy while you unwind. I’m house trained, crate trained, and very gentle, which makes me a great fit for a senior or someone living in an apartment. I enjoy walks, I love car rides, and I get along best with submissive dogs who don’t mind that I like to be the star of the fetch game. What I want most is someone who will toss the ball for me, laugh at my silly antics, and then snuggle up with me afterward. I’m playful, loyal, and full of love — the perfect mix of fun and companionship. If you’re looking for a sweet boy who brings joy, energy, and great cuddles, I think we’d make a wonderful team. My adoption fee is $300. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at   Foster Application | Boston Terrier Rescue Of North Texas  . Story
Hello there. My name is Murphy, and I am a 15-year-old lil boy who weighs 22 pounds. I am so lucky this wonderful rescue came and saved me; I did not grow up in a very nice environment. I am a particular little guy; I like to do things on my own terms. I do not like to be forced to do things which makes me upset and nip. I also do not like to share toys or food. I want to be the leader, so I need to be the only dog in the house. I am still learning how to be a dog and still working on my house training and my manners. I do have some hearing loss and need kidney care food because of my age. I absolutely love to be outside and play with stuffies. My ideal home would a person who can teach me manners and who is willing to help me be a better guy. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+), my adoption fee is waived. Must be an only dog. No children. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! NOTE:  Hospice fosters have ongoing medical needs that will require care for the rest of their lives. While they remain available for adoption, we carefully screen potential homes to ensure their medical and special needs can be fully supported. BTRNT is committed to providing these dogs with a loving forever home—whether that is through adoption or as a permanent hospice foster within our rescue. We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Hi! My name is TJ and oh boy do I love to play ball! I am a very loving and happy 36 pound 6-year-old boy. I am housetrained and crate trained. I have lots of energy and would love a home with an active family. Because of my energy, my foster mom says older kids might be best for me. I am also very protective of my food so I need a family or owner who understands that and how to work with that. I am selective of my doggie friends so, I would do best with a home without dogs. My ideal family would be one who loves to play with me and are looking for a handsome, gentle boy. The most important thing in my life is finding my forever home and family. MUST BE ONLY DOG. My adoption fee is $350. Thank you for supporting our rescue efforts!  We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Hi, I’m Gatsby, a friendly and loving 12-year-old gentleman, around 45 lbs. I’m great with dogs and love to be around people. I’m always up for belly rubs, and if you stop petting me, I’ll paw at your hand to let you know I want more! Even at my age, I still get around great—jumping up on the couch without any issues, and I’m very active and spry for 10. I’m house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. I enjoy spending time with my people and following the pack when they go outside. I do have some allergies, but they’re under control now. While I don’t love car rides, I do enjoy short walks, though I’m more of a relaxed guy most of the time. My ideal home would be one where I’m not left alone too much. A yard and a doggie door would be great, but more than anything, I want to be close to you! I’m the perfect couch potato companion. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+) my adoption fee is waived. Thank you for supporting our rescue efforts!    We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Ernie loves attention and being with his human(s) as much as possible. He gets along with other dogs and lives with dogs of all sizes and ages in his foster home. He would be a great travel companion as he loves to go for rides and make new friends. He is good on a leash and would enjoy walks, but of course, with all brachycephalic breeds, his humans have to be cautious of hot weather (especially when it is humid) even more than other breeds. He is not yet house or crate trained and needs someone who will take him out on a regular basis and continue with that training. We feel he might have been in a breeding situation and was kept crated most of the time, so this is taking longer than usual. He has great manners otherwise and is just an outgoing and loving boy.He is current with his vetting - all vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Bert and his brother Ernie came into rescue together, and we think they were used for breeding. Like his brother, Bert loves attention and being with his human(s) as much as possible. Bert is crate-trained and will ask to go out before going inside. Since his foster mom is home most of the time, he has not had any issues, but he might need more training if left alone for several hours. He is fully vetted - current with vaccines, neutered, micro chipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Bodi is a big time cuddler, and he always wants a lap. We have another dog, a cat and kids and he gets along with all his of them. He does bark a lot at new people or new dogs, so we havent been able To walk him much or take him To dog parks because he gets really loud with barking and anxious. We have also had a hard time potty training him, so I need someone who could dedicate time to train him. He is Very food motivated. He is adorable and is funny, so we have held on to him for four years. But, I need someone who can dedicate more time to train him because my family is too busy with work and kids activities.
