Story
Emmi joined Rescue Row in November 2020 after a breeder decided they no longer had a use for her. Just two months later, she was adopted and began life with her family. Sadly, Emmi was returned to Rescue Row three weeks ago after the circumstances within her previous home changed, and her family was no longer able to care for her. Over the past three weeks, we have been getting to know Emmi again, and her foster mom reports that she is a wonderful girl! She is calm, quiet, affectionate, house trained, and incredibly well-mannered. She walks beautifully on a leash, rides well in the car, loves her toys and treats, and is happiest snuggled up next to her people. Emmi would be great as an only dog. She was dog friendly when initially with RR six years ago, but she has not been around other dogs since then and is currently in a foster home as an only dog. We are unsure of how she is with other dogs at this time, but she would likely do well with another calm and easygoing canine friend. Now 11 years old, Emmi is looking for a quiet home without children where she can enjoy her golden years. If you are interested in adopting Emmi, we are accepting applications at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a home check *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##913690##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ben Franklin! He’s 25lbs, neutered, approx 20 months old now, ultra sweet and exceptionally playful. He has juvenile Cataracts and we’ve started a fundraiser for the $10k needed for surgery. He is potty trained. Is very dog friendly but not tested on cats. He does well inside the crate and not a barker. He is very polite with food around other dogs and plays nicely sharing toys. He has a gentle mouth and takes gently from the hand. He’s not a fan of being on a leash but will do it, and again once he’s got corrected vision, I’m sure will be happier being taken for walks. He is a little hyper, and bouncy, and I believe this might be due to his lack of vision so his other senses are hyper stimulated, but will sit on command, and come when called. I think that’s once he can see again he will be easier to settle and easier to train and learn about boundaries. If interested in this adorable guy, we can certainly provide additional details on his upcoming cataracts surgery.

Story
Hi, I’m Doodle! I’m a 3‑month‑old Boston Terrier mix gal with a soft heart, a playful spirit, and the sweetest snuggles you could ask for. I love running around with my doggy siblings, chasing toys, and exploring, but I’m also a pretty laid‑back little gal who’s just as happy curling up beside you when playtime is done. I’m working hard on my potty training and crate training, and I’m doing really well for a young pup. I’m good with kids and cats, and I have normal puppy energy, enough to make you smile, but not so much that I can’t settle down for cuddles. I love all toys, especially the ones I can tug, toss, or carry around proudly. I’d really love a home where someone will keep helping me learn and grow. I’m sweet, playful, snuggly, and ready to become someone’s best little girl. My adoption fee is $300. Puppies will come fully vetted and the rescue will pay for spay and neuter. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at   Foster Application | Boston Terrier Rescue Of North Texas  . Hi, I’m Cannoli. I’m a 3‑month‑old Boston Terrier mix with the softest little heart and a love for snuggling that’s bigger than I am. I adore playing with my siblings, chasing toys, tumbling around, and exploring, but I’m just as happy curling up quietly beside you. I’m a sweet, easygoing girl who loves being close to my people. I’m learning all my puppy manners and doing really well with potty training and crate training. I’m good with kids, cats, and dogs, and I enjoy going for walks and riding in the car. Every toy is my favorite toy, and I’m always ready for a gentle game or a cozy nap afterward. I hope to find a family who will keep helping me grow and learn. I’m tender, playful, snuggly, and so ready to be someone’s little sweetheart. My adoption fee is $300. Puppies will come fully vetted and the rescue will pay for spay and neuter.  We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Hi, I’m Taz! I’m a 4‑year‑old, 21‑pound Boston bundle of zoomies and love. I wake up every day ready to play, explore, and make my humans smile. I’ve got plenty of energy and I adore wrestling, chasing, and goofing around with the other foster doggies, having a doggy friend is one of my favorite things in the world. I’m also a big sweetheart. I love pleasing my humans, especially if there are treats involved. Sometimes I get a little hyper because life is exciting, but I settle down quickly and turn into a snuggly couch buddy. I’m house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, and I’m a great passenger for car rides. If you want a buddy to cuddle up with while you watch TV, I’m already on my way to your lap. I’d be happiest with an active family who enjoys playtime as much as I do, and I’d really love another dog friend to romp around with. I’m great with older kids, though I might accidentally knock the littles over with my enthusiasm. I’ve got a huge heart, a silly streak, and so much love to give — I can’t wait to find my people. My adoption fee is $400. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Hi, I’m Darcy — a 7‑year‑old, 21‑pound Boston Terrier with a soft heart, a big cuddle habit, and a story that’s still unfolding. I didn’t have the easiest start in life, but I’m learning every day what it feels like to be safe, loved, and understood. I’m a super sweet girl who absolutely adores water — the pool is my happy place. I’m also a world‑class snuggler who will melt right into you the moment I feel comfortable. I’m trained with the doggy door, I’m crate trained, and I’m great with kids — especially older, considerate ones who understand that I’m still building my confidence. When it comes to other dogs, I’m a bit selective. I do best with calm, submissive pups who won’t overwhelm me. I’m not good with cats, though — they’re just a little too tempting for me. I’m still working on my training, but I’m trying so hard. I just need a family with patience, kindness, and a willingness to help me keep learning. If you give me time, I’ll give you my whole heart. If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly companion who’s ready for a fresh start and a lifetime of love, I think we could be perfect together. My adoption fee is $300  AVAILABLE EARLY MAY. Story
Bruno is a cuddly and loving baby boy. He was born from a litter I raised. He was rehomed to a wonderful owner who unfortunately could not keep him. Both the previous owner and I wanted to make sure he found a new loving and suitable home for him. He is up to date with all his shots and it fixed. He loves cuddles and lots of attention so ideally someone who has a lot to give would be a perfect fit.
