Tazzy is a sweet, loving dog. This decision has come with much struggle for me. I have had him since he was born and still have the Mom and Dad also. He has a lot of anxiety and requires constant attention. I have changed jobs from a remote/work from home job to an office job and can't be there for him as much as he needs. Kenneling him was a short-lived option as he was determined to escape, and did. Mom and Dad do not require this much attention and have adjusted to being alone during the day. He is neutered, chipped and all shots up to date. I just want him to have a safe, loving home.

Shelter life can be a little overwhelming for me, so I may act a bit fearful at first. I warm up best when people let me come to them at my own pace. A quiet room or crate where I can unwind would help me settle in. Gentle handling, and yummy treats are the way to my heart. Supervise new introductions and give me time before expecting me to join in on all the household fun.In the yard, I’ve shown loose, relaxed body language, neutral ears, and I enjoy exploring. I’ve politely greeted other dogs and tolerated their greetings just fine.Foster reason: I am recovering from eye removal, but doing super well with medications! Jessie was dumped and some nice people saw her on the county road. They knew that she would die out there so they brought her home. She is living in a barn because their dogs are older and not happy with her presence. She is good with other dogs and loves playing where the resident dogs do not - thus the problem. She weighs 25 lbs and they think she is a mix of a Boston Terrier and a Jack Russell Terrier but just a guess. She is super cute,She's very sweet and smart; she just wants to play and is active. She has been in this situation for 2 months and getting lonely. The finders do not want to take her to a shelter. We would love to help her. She is young - 10 to 12 months old. ##2581781##

Dixie is absolutely adorable!! There is nothing wrong with her except she has too much energy for my older pet🥴. She is pure entertainment! She does need an owner who has the energy to walk her or has a yard to run in. She loves to play fetch inside and out. She loves her crate and it is advised to put her in it while you are away, since she is just over a year old. A cuddle bug when she is tired. Loves to be cradled and tummy rubbed as you put her to rest. She is ready to be trained by an owner who likes that sort of thing.
