Story
Five-year-old Tic Tac is a charming, fawn winky pug with a heart as big as his bark! While he can be a little cautious at first, once he warms up, this Velcro pug loves nothing more than cuddling up next to his favorite person and showering them with kisses. Tic Tac enjoys toys, puzzle games, and snuffle mats—and occasionally shows off his silly side by proudly parading around with socks or shoes he’s “borrowed.” He is about 90% house-trained, crate-trained (though he’s not a fan of it), and walks well on a leash—just be sure his harness is snug because he’s been known to wiggle out when something’s caught his interest! Tic Tac gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, but he’d prefer a home with a canine buddy and patient humans who understand he sees the world a little differently due to limited vision. If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly companion with a goofy streak, Tic Tac is your guy! ****** All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. To learn more or apply, visit www.dfwpugs.com.

Story
One-year-old Ottis is a lively, fawn boy with boundless energy and even bigger heart. Tall, lean, and always on the move, he’s a playful whirlwind who loves fetch, toys of every kind, and any creature willing to play—dogs, cats, humans… everyone is invited. In the evenings, Ottis flips the switch from athlete to cuddlebug and will happily shower you with kisses (he’s very generous with them!). Ottis is mostly house-trained and finds a consistent routine and belly bands helpful during training. He’s crate-trained and does great although he prefers sleeping in bed with his people. He walks well on leash, eats enthusiastically, and enjoys mealtime best when fed separately. Ottis can play a little rough due to his youthful enthusiasm, but he responds well to gentle reminders. Ottis would thrive in an active home with teens or older kids and a playful companion—or humans ready to keep up with his fun-loving spirit. If you’re looking for a sweet, high-energy adventurer who plays hard and loves harder, Ottis is ready to explore life with you! ****** All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
One-year-old Martina is a lively, fawn girl bursting with playful energy and personality. This high-spirited sweetheart loves tug-of-war and thrives on interactive play. She gets along with everyone she meets and brings joyful enthusiasm to every room she enters. Martina is very treat-motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience. Martina is house-trained, crate-trained (sleeps soundly in her crate at night) and has beautiful mealtime manners. She walks on leash but is still working on curbing her enthusiasm—especially learning not to jump when excited. With patience and consistency, she’s eager to continue improving. Due to her sturdy build and high spirits, Martina would do best in a home with older children and someone patient who can help her channel her energy. She could thrive as an only dog or with a playful canine companion. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, active girl ready to grow and learn with you, Martina is ready to leap into your heart! ****** All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
2-year-old Krunch is a fawn, goofy, high-energy boy who loves being wherever his people are. A little skittish at first, he warms up quickly and reveals a joyful, playful personality that keeps everyone laughing. If you’re up and moving, he’s right there with you—especially if snow or a backyard adventure are involved! He’s about 90% house-trained, marks outdoors only, and is improving with crate training (he settles once inside). He’s a polite eater—though he may sneak a snack if given the chance—and does best with a slow feeder bowl. Krunch adores all toys, especially soft stuffed ones, and shares beautifully. He’s great with other dogs and even does well with cats. Leash manners are a work in progress, and he’ll need a secure harness when on walks. Krunch would thrive in an active, loving home with another young dog and older children (5 years old and up). Ready for a little joyful chaos? Krunch is your guy! ****** All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Story
2-year-old Marcus is a fawn, sweet-natured boy who enjoys keeping an eye on his people but also independent enough to entertain himself. He loves relaxing with a good chew on the couch, collecting stuffed toys for his little “lair,” and heading out for walks. Marcus is mostly house-trained but still working on marking, and he doesn’t mind wearing a belly band while he improves. He’s playpen-trained, sleeps peacefully in his bed overnight, and can comfortably handle a full workday in his playpen. He’s also great on a leash and enjoys walks and visits to the dog park. At mealtime, Marcus is very enthusiastic about food—he arrived quite skinny—so he eats separately and is learning that regular meals mean no more scavenging. Marcus gets along well with other dogs but could also thrive as an only dog in a home where someone is around often and daily walks are part of the routine. Looking for a loyal little companion with a big heart (and healthy appetite)? Marcus is ready to meet you! ****** All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
1.5-year-old Champion is a fawn, gentle young boy who enjoys exploring the world calmly and curiously. This sweet, thoughtful pug loves plush toys (though they don’t last long!) and happily greets new dogs and people with his easygoing charm. While he enjoys cuddles, he’s not overly clingy—just the perfect balance of affectionate and independent. Champion is house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent mealtime manners—he eats his meals without rushing and happily shares space around food and treats. He’s still working on settling quietly after being released from his crate, but he’s learning more each day. Champion would thrive in a home with another friendly dog companion, as he truly enjoys canine company. Because he can experience a bit of separation anxiety at first, a home where someone is around often would help him continue building confidence. Looking for a calm, sweet companion with a playful side? Champion is ready to earn his place in your heart. ****** All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area.
