This sweet, mild-mannered, tender-hearted gal is DELIGHTFUL. She is a nice, quiet, gentle gal. She's so special and well-behaved. Here's a few more things we adore about her: -Shes always happy and joyful, especially when she is around people. Her tail is always wagging, and she smiles. -She's friendly, social, tolerant, and easy-going -She's very smart and will sit for treats and she will give you her paw before you even ask her to. -She leashes up easily and has a leisurely, relaxed walk. (She has some arthritis so she likes taking things slow.) -She's a good combination of playfulness mixed with couch potato. -She is potty trained -She loves chewing on toys. She needs sturdy ones because she's one of those dogs that can't resist the stuffing and squeakers in the soft plushy ones. -She gives out amazing kisses -She is an assertive female dog and prefers to be the only female dog in the household. -She has gotten along with smaller male dogs, and Mayday will be happy to assist with intros of other family pets. Cowboy (date found Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025) Cowboy was found recently on a busy intersection on the 347 and the Harrah’s Casino in Maricopa AZ. He had been seen running with an identical dog but other dog could not be found. The Ranger at Ak-Chin asked his rescuer to hold for 78 hours in order to try and find his family. The hold ended and Cowboy finds himself in need of a home. He is a gentle boy who approached his rescuer without hesitation. He appears to be house trained with no accidents in his foster home. He is working on basic commands and making progress. He will be up-to-date on shots and neutered before being placed in adoption. He is available for meet and greets

I adopted Gabby on 10/12/25 from maricopa county animal shelter. She is about 10 yrs old if not just a tad bit older. I'm looking for somebody that can devote their time with her. Maybe stay home parent. She sleeps alot so she would be very easy to hang out with. As her body's aging, she can't jump. Not too good with commands, when I tell her to sit, she wants to do a little leap. She is housebroke. She does have some health issues. That's why I put her as special needs. She does have a hard time breathing when she goes on walks. But she loves to go on them. She has skin tags hanging off her, and the doctor said nothing to worry about. If they don't bother her, don't remove them. She has some issues with her hocks, I believe she was kept outside her entire life. When I saw her, she was in rough shape. But I've given her a bunch of TLC, comfy beds and blankets. Miss Gabby is a wonderful senior luv dog. Always wants be near you, will follow you everywhere! Loves to be next to you.
