I am a soulful, affectionate pup who craves connection, safety, and a place to truly belong. My early years were tough - I was adopted as a puppy and thought I’d found my forever home, but things didn’t go quite as planned. My first five years were full of changes and uncertainty, and eventually, I was brought back to the shelter. It was a tough time, but I’ve since moved into a foster home where I’m learning what it means to feel safe and loved. I’ve made huge strides in building trust and confidence, and every safe, loving experience helps me grow even more. At 6 years old, I have the maturity and manners of an adult dog, but don’t let that fool you - I still have that inner puppy sparkle, a curiosity and joy that comes alive when I’m given new experiences, fun toys, and time to explore. I love outdoor adventures, cozy spaces filled with pillows and blankets, and keeping busy with my favorite chew and squeaky toys. Belly rubs and booty scratches aren’t just my favorite, they’re how I feel loved, comforted, and safe, and I have no problem making sure my people know when it’s time for affection. I’m treat motivated and eager to learn, making me easy to train and excited to work with people who want to help me continue growing. I feel most comfortable with people who are calm, kind, and patient - folks who let me take things at my own pace but are always there to guide and reassure me when I need it. I need a safe space away from other dogs and lots of hustle and bustle. I thrive on outdoor exploration, mental stimulation, and human connection. I’m very social at heart, I just struggle with trust because of my past, but the more people I bond with the more I learn that I’m wanted, safe, and loved and my personality blossoms. I’m looking for a calm, adults-only home with no other pets, where I can keep growing at my own pace. A big yard or access to outdoor exploration would help keep me engaged, and with time and love, I’ll be the most loyal companion you could ask for. **WELCOME CANDICE** Age 4mos Phoenix AZ. Please help us welcome Candice to the FTP family. She is one of an unwanted litter of 7 puppies. Candice is the smallest of the litter but is definitely holding her own with her bigger siblings. She is a beautiful black and white mix of adorable pittie-ness. Mom and dad are both pitties...mom is an approx. 47lb blue/grey/white mix of coloring. Dad has white and brown spots and is approx. 70lbs. We will be spaying mama so she will not be subjected to anymore "accident litters." Candice and her siblings are hanging together in foster. They have met the bigger fosters through a fence...but they are too young to interact just yet. She has learned the supervised doggie door, sleeps through the night and loves to play with her siblings. She is getting fully vetted, altered, getting her series of necessary vaccines and microchipped. Candice is looking for fur-ever...fill out an application today and set up a meet!

**FOSPICE NEEDED for MYSTIC** Age 7.5yrs Phoenix AZ. This is Mystic fna Michelle who came into MCACC as a stray on 10/15/24 A5084468. She was given a euthanasia date of 10/21/24....that's only 6 days to find freedom from death. Mystic was e-listed for medical reasons. She came in with a huge mammary tumor. Our best guess was she was used for breeding and then discarded like trash. Well, to us she is not disposable, and one of our wonderful fosters stepped up to help take care of her. She had surgery to remove the tumor and see what else was hiding inside her beautiful, abused 7yr old body. The tumor weighed 1.4lbs and the biopsy came back sadly as cancer. They could not remove all of the internal tumors....and there were a lot....because it would have caused her more harm than good. Mystic is such a sweet and loving girl. She is so happy to have loving attention, a warm bed, good food and a fur-foster-sibling to snuggle up with. She will live out her days under our care probably receiving the only love, care and safety she has ever felt. *Not currently on any medications *She is not in pain nor suffering *She is not a good candidate for invasive surgery for tumors that keep popping up *She has a shortened life span due to the cancer *She is very happy, loving, energetic *The cancer is not affecting her movements, moods, energy or adventures she so greatly deserves to experience *All medications (when needed), vet appointments, transportation, end of life decisions, costs are covered by FTP Rescue *She weighs in at 45lbs and is a beautiful silver/blue American PB Terrier Mystic will go to fospice with all her belongings and food. She gets along great with big and small dogs and would love a family that will take her places, give her love and security. She has so much unconditional love to give. **CLEVER CLYDE aka FABULOUS FAT BOY** Age 3.5yrs Phoenix AZ. Who here remembers this gorgeous hunk? This sweet chunk was the beloved fur-baby to a human in need living on the streets of our community. He was affectionately named Fat Boy and he was in dire need of medical attention. He had a terrible injury to his front left leg that he could only drag. We posted about him and thousands of people commented that they wanted us to support the human and his furry companion with the care they both needed. Well.....we did....in fact we spent thousands of hours (and dollars) on his care rehabilitation.....and now we need your help! Sadly we have been unable to reunite Fat Boy (now Clyde) with his human so we are looking for a loving home for this sweet hunk! Clyde is LOVING living life indoors and having his own pool to play in and his own comphy bed to sleep on. Here are his impressive stats: *He is a mix of Cane Corso, Neapolitan Mastiff and APBT *He weighs in at 71lbs *He is healthy, UTD on all shots, altered and microchipped and potty trained *He does not let being a tri-pod slow his roll-although he does enjoy his walks with short breaks! *He loves his big and small doggie friends *He is so loving, gentle and is a world-class cuddler *He gives Michael Phelps a run for his money in the dog paddle category *He deserves to be coddled and spoiled the rest of his beautiful life!
