Kenai loves people and is always happy to see you. He’s lovable and friendly towards humans but he doesn’t do well with other dogs and will not do well with cats. He’s housebroken and crate trained. Knows basic commands like sit, wait, bedtime, dinner, come, etc. He does not jump on you, he’s been trained not to. He is scared of loud noises like planes, motorcycles, fireworks and we live on a busy street so conditions are not ideal for him. He’s a good guard dog and likes to bark outside but does not bark indoors (trained not to). Our hope is to find a family with older children that can take him in. He’s a very good dog and will love you so much.

The Co Founder of the rescue saw a picture of Opal in Mexico covered in Ticks and emaciated skinny. She was homeless living in the streets of Tijuana . We got her here and immediately took her to the vet for bloodwork and a 4DX test to make sure she had no tickborne diseases. Thankfully everything came back negative and her blood work normal! She is currently a medical status because she needs to slowly gain weight .It was found that she is deaf. She will need about a month for recovery and rehabilitation. Her personality is as sweet as pie! She just wants to be with her Hooman all the time. She is a lap dog. She is not too playful yet but that will come with time. Willow was at the shelter for 3 1/2 months and running out of time so we decided to rescue/ foster her so she wouldn’t be killed. She is the easiest dog that I have ever fostered. She just wants to be a good girl and please. She’s very sensitive and listens really well. She gets along great with my other two dogs and my tenants dog. She’s a very mellow dog but also loves to go on hikes and play with another dog when they are willing. If they don’t want ti she’ll leave them alone. Willow is potty trained , rarely will bark and doesn’t chew anything up. She can tend to be scared a little easily and doesn’t like certain flooring that she thinks is slippery. I’ve had to lay down a few runners around my house so she can roam more comfortably. Other wise Willow is the dream dog. ##1645890##

This handsome guy, Rome is an approximately 4 yr old pitty and he's looking for his forever home. He was originally found in December living outside Casino Morongo in a box then was found running for his life on the freeway before he was caught by a good samaritan, who took him to a nearby veterinary clinic to check for a chip. After no owner came looking for him, one of the veterinary technicians from the clinic took him home and has been fostering him since then.... letting him decompress and learn what its like to be loved & part of a family. Rome has come a long way but is still a work in progress and will require someone with time, patience & lots of love while continuing to work on his manners & training. Rome does well around other dogs with a mellow energy (after proper & slow introductions) he enjoys playing with his foster brother (a shitzu), he has seen a cat and has shown no aggression just curiosity. He enjoys nice walks or snuggled up being your couch buddy. Rome is a big goofy, clumsy lover under his big tough exterior who is looking for someone to share his drooly kisses with. ##2059965##
