Clyde’s survival is nothing short of a miracle. When rescued alongside Bonnie from the train tracks in San Bernardino, he was on the brink of death. For five days he fought for his life, but with veterinary care, a slow feeding plan, and endless love, Clyde pulled through and proved he’s a true fighter. Now healthy and thriving, Clyde has the sweetest soul. He’s cuddly, playful, and loves to be around people. Clyde is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and kid-friendly—he’d fit right into just about any home. Story
Meet Opal, a young female Boxer with a heart as big as her journey! Opal's story began on the streets of Tijuana, where a heartbreaking picture of her Emaciated and covered in ticks found its way to us. Homeless and struggling, we knew we had to bring her to safety. Once here, we immediately took her to the vet for bloodwork and a 4DX test to check for any tick-borne diseases. Everything came back negative, and her blood work is perfectly normal! We were thrilled! Fast forward a couple months, Opal was on medical status as we worked on slowly gaining weight and building her strength. During her Spay appt, she almost died on the table and it was found that she did in fact contract 2 Tickborne Diseases! She had contracted Erlichia and Anaplasmosis. We cured the tickborne diseases and her blood platelets were damaged. So she has been battling Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia, going every two weeks for routine blood draws and medicine. During the vet visits, we also discovered that Opal is deaf, but that doesn't stop her from being the sweetest, most affectionate dog. She adores being with her humans and thinks she's a lap dog-she'll cuddle up with you any chance she gets! Opal is looking for a loving home where her new family will enjoy her goofy loving personality! If you're ready to be part of Opal's journey and give her the second chance she deserves, please complete our adoption application, and we'll be in touch soon. Let's give this sweet girl the happy ending she's been waiting for!

Story
Leia is a sweet and friendly girl who enjoys gentle attention and being around people. She has a calm, affectionate nature and is sure to make a wonderful companion for a loving home. Leia is currently recovering from cherry eye surgery. Cherry eye is a condition where a gland in the third eyelid becomes swollen and protrudes, appearing as a small red mass in the corner of the eye. It’s a common and treatable condition, and surgery helps reposition the gland back where it belongs. Leia may still be healing, so she’ll benefit from a quiet environment and a family willing to follow any post-operative care instructions to support her recovery. With a little patience while she heals, Leia will be ready to share her loving personality and bring warmth to her new home.

Story
Bruno is a sweet and gentle boy who may take a moment to warm up to new people and situations, but once he feels comfortable, his loving personality truly shines. Give him a little time, and you'll discover a loyal companion who loves with his whole heart. He enjoys being pet, spending time with other dogs, and getting out for jogs around the neighborhood. Bruno has a playful side and appreciates having opportunities to stretch his legs, explore, and socialize with his canine pals. After some fun and exercise, he's always happy to soak up affection from the people he trusts. Bruno's biggest strength is the deep bonds he forms with those around him. While he may be a little reserved at first, the love and devotion he gives once he's opened up make every moment worth the wait.
