Leia is a sweet and friendly girl who enjoys gentle attention and being around people. She has a calm, affectionate nature and is sure to make a wonderful companion for a loving home. Leia is currently recovering from cherry eye surgery. Cherry eye is a condition where a gland in the third eyelid becomes swollen and protrudes, appearing as a small red mass in the corner of the eye. It’s a common and treatable condition, and surgery helps reposition the gland back where it belongs. Leia may still be healing, so she’ll benefit from a quiet environment and a family willing to follow any post-operative care instructions to support her recovery. With a little patience while she heals, Leia will be ready to share her loving personality and bring warmth to her new home. Leia is currently in foster care, so she is not physically on our facility. Mocha is a sweet, playful 17-week-old puppy looking for her forever home ❤️She is about 19 lbs and is a pitbull mix, possibly with shepherd or malinois. She loves meeting people, is kind and respectful to dogs, and is very curious and affectionate. I think she would do great in a family with other dogs.She is still in her teething/puppy biting stage and will need continued patience and training. She is doing well with potty training and crate training, responds when called, knows “sit,” and sleeps well overnight.She is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. The vet noticed a heart murmur but she is active, eating well, and living normally. I will send over medical records but a cardiologist would be recommended for peace of mind.We have fallen in love but sad that she is not the best fit for our current living situation. We are in the IE but willing to travel to LA, OC, we just want to find her a good home. We will provide all supplies. Please message me if interested.
