Story
Wendi is a one year old female Boxer mix, who has the cutest smile ever! She is quiet and low key while in her cage, which sadly makes it easy for her to be overlooked as potential adopters walk through her area. But once she is taken out on a leash, Wendi’s big smile and wiggles show just how happy she is to be taken on a walk with you! After her initial excitement of getting out, she calms down quickly and is good on a leash. Wendi seems to be a little camera shy, because as soon as the camera came out during her “photo shoot”, she avoided looking directly at it! Still, the pictures show her adorable way of posing in a Down position, with her back legs fully sprawled out behind her. This sweet girl would be so happy in her furever home with people to love, lots of toys, and a nice soft bed. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Story
Barney is a male, 4 year old Boxer mix, and is such a friendly boy! It is impossible not to smile around this boy, anything and everything makes him so happy and brings out his big smile (and will likely bring yours out too)! Barney has a wide range of facial expressions, from a silly grin to goofy looks to his trademark big HAPPY smile! He has a funny way of letting his tongue hang out sideways, has crazy zoomies that will leave you giggling, and loves giving kisses! He’s great with other dogs and kids, and is very curious about kitties! Barney has the zoomies when first brought out, but chills out until you tell him he’s a pretty boy … and then he’s all tail wags and happy hops again! Barney is pretty good on a leash, and even though he pulls a little bit, he will follow your lead. He is eager to go walking, meet new people, or basically to do anything that you want to do. Could that include going home with you?! It’s time to meet Barney and find out! Story
Orion Pringles aka “Owie” Boy, neutered, almost 1 year old. Current on shots, due for annuals soon. He’s a sweet boy but his experiences with other dogs have been limited. Kids are okay, preferably older than 10. Owie is 80lbs, was in foster care for a couple months after being dumped on the freeway. He then reached his current owner who is faced with multiple health concerns and can no longer care for him. He’s incredibly intelligent and trainable.

Story
Hi I’m Boogie and my butt wiggles just as you say my name! I’m currently with my wonderful foster family decompressing from almost a year in the shelter with my foster brother who is a German Shepard that loves to run! I love to run and play ball too!! A little bit about me: I LOVE chewing on toys and bones and can keep myself entertained for hours with a good chew toy.. I’ve never been one for chewing something not given to me. I’m crazy about playing fetch, try me! Ive been in the shelter in a cage for a long time so I'm learning potty training but I'm catching on super fast! You can’t give me enough lovings because I have no bubble!! Despite my past, I am the happiest pup and will be happy with anyone who will give me a loving home. I LOVE people and will lean into you for loves and I just discovered I love watching TV with my foster mommy. Come meet me! Boogie had several dog meets and loves other dogs but we suggest doing a meet with your dog if you already have one to make sure they are a good match!
