Bentley is so loving and loyal. He is so chilled but alerts you when someone is approaching the house - a true protector. He has been the love of my life for 9 years since his birth and unfortunately my job is requiring me to travel abroad and Bentley needs a stable loving parent and/or family. He is motivated by snacks - his favorite is sweet potato doggie treats. He loves to play - wants you to pretend you’re taking his favorite toy away from him - he loves it! I feel so loved and safe in his presence and you will to. He deserves the absolute best parent(s) who can give him the love and care.

Story
A FUN & ADVENTUROUS GIRL:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 43 lbs.    Hi, I’m Sadi!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I sure am happy to be on my way to finding a great new family – perhaps it’s you! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met some dogs recently at Mostly Mutts and loved to play with them!  I can be rough when I play, so I’d want a playful doggie friend that wouldn’t mind this, so if you have a nice dog at home that might like a playmate, let’s meet and see if we can be pals.  / I’ve not officially met cats while at Mostly Mutts, but I ran to the cat room window and followed them with interest through the window.  So, if you have a kitty already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I was very active and excited to meet the kids at Mostly Mutts!  In fact, I was a bit all over them with my enthusiasm, so I think kids 10 years and older would be best for me – and of course let’s meet!     • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a friendly and very active girl who has a fun and playful nature.  I heard the volunteers say I am ‘a wonderful dog’ who is a real sweetheart – with the most beautiful, soulful eyes. / My energy level is 6-8, so let’s be active together!  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer.  I’ve mastered a few commands already: ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’, and ‘down’ and I look forward to learning even more, so check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love to play – with people and toys alike.  I’m a strong, young and energetic girl who would enjoy a nice, fenced yard to romp around in with you.  Let’s make time for fun adventures together too! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I am also receiving medicated baths for some skin itchiness I’m experiencing. I am looking for a home where I will be a much-loved member of an active family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 26, 2024, 11:37 am

Leo is a sweet boy who has been part of the family since 2016. We used to go on hikes and walks all of the time until I became disabled. I am unable to give Leo the time and attention he deserves. He needs a loving home where he can get what he needs. He will make a great addition to a family or a solo companion.

Champ came into the shelter on 05/15 with his friend TT; their family was violating their lease and would have been evicted if they'd kept the dogs, who lived outside. Story
Meet this incredibly sweet little girl we have named Huggie Bear. She arrived at the shelter after becoming lost on an adventure on 5/3. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim this sweet baby. Huggie Bear is just a year old and weighs 44lbs. She is as cute as can be and just so lovable. She is a little shy at first but once she is out of her kennel, she is very loving affectionate! She earned the name Huggie Bear because she immediately hugged a volunteer while she was having her pictures taken. She is super duper smart because knows simple commands such sit when asked and she may know more. Huggie Bear would certainly love to be taught so much more. She needs to have a family or favorite person that will be patient and give her the reassurance that she is important everyday, guide her on the right path to be the best pup that the volunteers already knows that she is. The volunteers know inside that tiny little body there is a great personality that is quickly shining through. Even though life has given Huggie Bear a curve ball, she knows that no matter what, she will happily gives all the love and hugs you could ever deserve. She gives the best hugs! Give her a chance and keep her safe and loved. Its all she wants and needs. Just to be yours forever. She doesn't need to start out her life in a loud shelter. We believe in this little angel. Will you please give her a shot at a fair life? It would make all her dreams come true. Huggie Bear is current vaccines, will be spayed, micro chipped and heart worm tested upon adoption. She will be eagerly awaiting for your visit in Run 22 and her ID is 657349. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
