Story
This handsome dude is Deano! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 2/1, and no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Deano as friendly, playful, and energetic! He comes off as a bit shy at first, but he warms up quickly. This may be due to the loud, overwhelming shelter environment. We're sure when he's in a loving home he'll open up! Deano does sit nicely for treats when asked. If you're looking for a new best friend to join you on hikes, runs, and all of life's adventures then Deano may be your guy! Deano is approximately 1 year old, and he weighs 45 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, now neutered, and tested negative for heartworms; he will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Deano in run 831; his ID # is 653386. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays. The shelter prefers people to make an appointment, go to - https://nqa3.nemoqappointment.com/Booking/Booking/Index/as65fg9dr953 and select Adoption. You can also show up between 10:30 & 4:00 Tues. thru Sun. (shelter closes at 4:30), you might have to wait a few minutes until someone can help you. Bentley is so loving and loyal. He is so chilled but alerts you when someone is approaching the house - a true protector. He has been the love of my life for 9 years since his birth and unfortunately my job is requiring me to travel abroad and Bentley needs a stable loving parent and/or family. He is motivated by snacks - his favorite is sweet potato doggie treats. He loves to play - wants you to pretend you’re taking his favorite toy away from him - he loves it! I feel so loved and safe in his presence and you will to. He deserves the absolute best parent(s) who can give him the love and care.

Story
My name is Kota. I am a 6 year old brindle boxer-pitt in search of a home. I’m looking for a human to spoil me with attention and affection. I'm such a lover girl, I love to snuggle, sit by feet and give kisses. If that's not your vibe, swipe left immediately. I'm a pretty chill, couch potato kind of girl. I like short walks but I get tired. my favorite thing is just chilling with a cool human. If you think we might vibe, let's set up a zoom chat and talk about next steps.

Hazel is the sweetest dog you could ask for. I have had a lot happen recently and I haven’t been able to give her the time or care she deserves which isn’t fair to her. She is less than a year old and loves every person and animal she has ever encountered. I just want her to have the life she deserves.

Story
Everly waqs born Mar 2019 and is a friendly, affectionate Boxer/Bulldog mix. She is a sweet, curious, playful girl who loves a soft bed, enjoys close physical contact with her humans, and likes to hold your hand or arm with her paw! She is a high energy girl who is progressing with her leash manners, has moments of running around the yard or in the house bounding on furniture, but is mostly a calm sweetheart who likes to curl up on the bed, couch, or dog bed to snooze. She likes other dogs, so we think she&#39ll do best in a home with a fenced yard and another dog for company. She is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, fully vaccinated & microchipped.April 21, 2024, 3:44 pm

Story
Tate was born in September of 2016 under a shed in a rural area outside of Atlanta and boy am I lucky that a rescue group found me and my siblings and took us in. My Mom was a Border Collie mix and I am not sure about Dad but he was obviously one handsome dude. I am house and crate trained. I am very nervous in new situations and with new people. Once I feel comfortable though I am just a big goofball and my favorite thing to do is snuggle. I prefer to stay inside where I feel safe so I will need someone to be patient with me and give me time to get acclimated. I will do best in a home without small children or other pets and with a fenced yard.April 21, 2024, 3:44 pm

Story
Hello there! My name is Raider, and I'm wagging my tail in hopes that you'll read my story and maybe even consider bringing me home with you. I may just be a 3-year-old mixed American Bully, but I've got a heart as big as my charming brindle coat. You see, I found myself lost and scared, but fate led me to this shelter on 02/07/2024, where I've been patiently waiting for someone like you to come along. At 50 pounds, I'm the perfect size for cuddles on the couch or adventures in the great outdoors. And my stunning eyes? Well, they're just the cherry on top of my handsome appearance! I have been neutered and tested negative for heart worms. Plus, all my shots are up to date, so you can rest easy knowing I'm a healthy pup ready to join your family. I will be micro-chipped upon adoption. I'm not just a pretty face, either. I've mastered commands like sit and stay, and I'm eager to learn even more with you by my side. So, what do you say? Why not swing by cage #58 and meet me in person? My ID is 653526, but you'll know it's me when you see my hopeful eyes and wagging tail. Let's start our journey together and make memories that'll last a lifetime. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff.
