Hi&#44 Im Norma-a 7-year-old&#44 55-pound gal with a soft heart and a steady pace. Whether were hitting the trails or strolling through the neighborhood&#44 Im happiest when Ive got fresh air&#44 new smells&#44 and some room to roam.<br/><br/>Ive had a couple of field trips out of the shelter&#44 and let me tell you-Im a total dream on a walk. Im polite on leash&#44 curious about my surroundings&#44 and love taking my time to sniff every little thing (hey&#44 its the best part of the walk!). Ive met friendly people and even some kiddos&#44 and Ive been calm and well-mannered with everyone.<br/><br/>In the play yard&#44 Im more of an independent explorer than a social butterfly-Im happy to coexist with other dogs&#44 but I wont be the one starting a game of tag. I know sit&#44 enjoy treats&#44 and if youre patient&#44 I might just lean in for some good snuggles.<br/><br/>If youre looking for a gentle companion with a quiet confidence&#44 Id love to be your walking buddy-and maybe your couch buddy too.

Sebastian is a 1½-year-old neutered male mixed-breed adopted from Lifeline last summer. He’s a loyal, loving dog with many standout qualities. He is fully house-trained (never an accident), crate trained, well trained on most commands, rarely barks, sheds very little, and stays securely in a fenced yard without trying to escape. Sebastian is affectionate and gentle with his people—you can safely take toys or food from him. Sebastian is protective of his home and family and can be reactive to unfamiliar people entering the house, so he needs an experienced adopter who can continue his training. He previously attended dog daycare but it is no longer a good fit. He currently lives peacefully with another dog and has shared the yard without issues for over six months. He is aware of cats and generally ignores them, though separation is recommended. Sebastian would thrive in a calm, structured home with experienced owners and limited visitors. He is a deeply loyal and rewarding companion
