Found starving and freezing Halloween day. Brought her home and immediatley to the vet. Vet said she was malnourished, did a parasite test and got all vaccines up to date including rabies. Little did we know she was newly pregnant. Our shelters here are full and we cannot keep her. She had her litter which I am also posting all 5 of them on December 21st. She is great with kids and babies, other dogs and my daughters cat. She is very loving and just wants food and love. Available for immediate adoption. Please be her forever parent. ❤️

Story
ROSS ~~ Boxer Mix, Fawn and White, Neutered Male, 68 pounds, DOB: 12/27/2021 Ross is smart, playful, and very curious. While he's working on his basic skills like walking on a leash and not jumping up, he's proved that he's a pretty smart and handsome guy! Someone abandoned Ross on Mansell Road and left him to fend for himself on a very busy road. Filthy, needing vet services and love, he ended up at Crabapple Knoll. Now, he needs you to provide him with a forever home and lots of love, treats, hugs and kisses! Ross is a sweet guy who would do best with an active couple or family with older children. Since he could use some basic leash and obedience training (nobody's perfect, after all), he may not be the best candidate around younger kids ~~ he tends to jump up in excitement. Ross is a high energy guy who would love his own fenced backyard to run around and play in. He would definitely benefit from some extended playtime or walks with his new people. Do you have some cool toys or maybe even a pool, like to go for hikes or go running? Even better! Ross is very food motivated and should thrive in the right hands. Ross was recently neutered and microchip, has gotten a clean bill of health from our amazing doctors and is now waiting to meet you and find his forever home. Give this sweet and handsome guy a second chance at a great new life! Ross has been reactive to cats and other dogs while in our care. He would need to be the only pet in your home, since he seems to want all of the attention and love. Ross doesn't think this is too much to ask and is looking for that special one-on-one, exclusive relationship with his favorite people! Ross will come home with one month of heartworm, flea and tick preventative. He is healthy and up to date on vet services. He has a negative heartworm test and fecal. Adoption fee is $130. To meet Ross and see if he is your perfect match, come and meet him at Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Monday to Friday 630AM to 7PM, Saturday and Sunday 8AM to 4PM. Closed on all major holidays.

Story
🐾 Hello, wonderful humans! My name is Lyfe, and I'm here to share my story in hopes of finding my forever home with someone as special as you. I may be just 8 months old, but my heart is full of love and longing for a family to call my own. With my charming and unique white and black coat, I stand out in any crowd at a perfect 48 pounds. My journey has been filled with ups and downs. You see, I've had the same family for all of my short life. Adopted at 2 months old, I thought I had found my forever home. But now, at just 8 months old, they've decided they weren't as ready for a dog as they thought. It breaks my heart, but I'm not giving up hope. I may be a little shy and timid, shaking with fear in this unfamiliar shelter environment, but deep down, I know there's a loving family out there just waiting to show me the kindness and patience I deserve. While I'm not spayed yet, that's a small detail that'll be taken care of upon adoption. And all my shots are up to date, so you can rest assured that I'm a healthy and happy pup ready to embark on a new chapter of my life. I may be scared of loud noises and sudden movements, but I promise to shower you with love and loyalty like you've never experienced before. I'll sit for treats, and with your gentle guidance, I know I'll blossom into the confident and brave dog I was always meant to be. You can find me trembling but hopeful in cage #19, and my ID is 653690. Please, won't you come meet me and give me the chance to show you just how much love I have to give? Together, we can turn my tale of sadness into one of joy and happiness. 🐾 Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays. Story
This handsome dude is Deano! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 2/1, and no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Deano as friendly, playful, and energetic! He comes off as a bit shy at first, but he warms up quickly. This may be due to the loud, overwhelming shelter environment. We're sure when he's in a loving home he'll open up! Deano does sit nicely for treats when asked. If you're looking for a new best friend to join you on hikes, runs, and all of life's adventures then Deano may be your guy! Deano is approximately 1 year old, and he weighs 45 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, now neutered, and will be microchipped and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Deano in run 831; his ID # is 653386. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. Story
Meet handsome Zeus! He was surrendered to the shelter on 1/31 due to his family having financial problems and not being able to care for him any longer. They did tell us that Zeus is house-trained, good with kids, and good with other dogs. They mentioned that he knows lots of commands, but the volunteers could only get him to sit. Maybe he's just overwhelmed in his new surroundings. The volunteers describe Zeus as friendly and sweet. He enjoys his walks and taking his time to sniff around. Zeus is quite strong on leash, so he'll do best with someone patient and kind who is willing to put some time into training. Zeus is 5 years old, and he weighs 65 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Zeus in run 78; his ID # is 653350. Story
What's not to love about me? I'm cute, petite, a super snuggler and I heard some guy named Rick wrote a song about me!!! I'm Jessie Girl. They say I'm a boxer mix, but I'm not even 40 pounds. Fommy thinks I might have some Boston terrier in me, which might explain my high prey drive. I love my 4 legged family members in my foster home, but they should probably not be in a farm setting. Also, no cats or rabbits, please. I'm a super snuggler who loves to be under the covers - and that's any covers; I'm not picky, but I especially love to be under yours so I can be all warm and cozy. I'm house-trained and crate-trained. What I don't do well is walk on a leash. I would need lots of patience and training. I can act very crazy and unruly while on walks, and even scream a bit because I'm over-excited, so teaching me how to redirect/refocus would be my number one priority. I would rather have a home that has a nice, secure,  tall fence. That way I won't get the crazies.   I'm just a simple family girl out here looking for her forever life. If that might be you, let's meet to see!     For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.   http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms   Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.   Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
So many famous Admirals in history, but first and foremost is me - I'm a famous Admiral! Meet Admiral, a neutered 8-year-old (12/13/2013) super energetic Boxer/Mountain Cur mix. He is lean and athletic and loves running and could probably command a naval fleet if needed.  Admiral will make the perfect companion for an active family.    Admiral is house and crate-trained and comes with a special escape-proof crate.  As a famous Admiral, he does need a fenced yard to run off his excess energy.  And a dog companion who likes to play and is around Admiral's size makes it easy to help this energetic guy settle down Admiral loves other dogs, playing, wrestling, chasing, and being chased. This handsome senior guy is ready for his own home where he gets lots of attention, play, and just being active! Just look at that goofy smile. Apply to adopt Admiral at the website shown below:     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found at http://www.angelsrescue.org/pet-forms/dog-adoption-app.asp and can be submitted online.
